I fear the worst for the new interface for the french version. Codemasters totally screwed every interface the game propose by cuting the descriptions in the boxes (like in the crafting windows, you can't see how much point an item rewards you).
If this kind of treatment is going to be applied to vital stats...

Well it sounds like F2P is paying off in the Dev department, I just wish some of those funds would go to bolster customer service it really needs to be re-hashed.

Large update? Please.

A new raid cluster, a handful of quests, and basically that's it other than tweaks.

If you don't raid, you will blink and miss all the new content.

@DiscoJer "A new raid cluster, and a handful of quests"... Blizzard did that a few months ago and called it an expansion and charged everyone $50 for it :P (I'm joking of course, but only a little).

Beyond that, the changes to the LI system seem mostly aimed at pushing cash shop use.

Drop Tier 7-9 relics (and make Tier 6 = Tier 9)? Great.

Make Relics unrmovable from LIs except through the use of a cash shop scroll? D'oh!

Dramatically increase the cost of combining relics so all but the very rich can afford Tier 6 relics? D'oh! But hey, I'm sure they'll be selling relics in the cash shop for thost that don't have hundreds of gold (not silver) laying around...

Having played a Minstrel for some time - it's good to see this class finally getting some decent attention - and the tweaks look excellent FTW.

Many of the other additions look really good as well - Radiance was a real block in getting into the more advanced raids, and was confusing too. LI still hasn't quite hit the sweet point for players for some time -
I think players really do want something "unique" and legendary - and
maybe more importantly, tailored to the kind of toon they are building.

Kudos also for Turbine making more of the epic quest line soloable. And in addition coming out with yet another book.

PvMP has been long neglected and yet IMO it is one of the jewels in the rough of LOTRO - that with more attention, could someday be LOTRO's biggest draw. My personal opinion - but LOTRO PvMP is actually really
good when it's working right. The visuals, sound effects, and game play
in the Ettenmoors I find fun, tense and worthwhile. I'm glad to see
Turbine finally putting more serious dev resources into PvMP.

Probably one of the best updates I've seen in some time. Looking forward to it.

IMO, from now until infinity the Epics should be soloable, like reading a book. Because you know, you don't really sit there with 5 other folks on the same chair reading the book all at once now do we? lol

The updates to the character panel and legendary Item system were really geared towards more store integration - They, up until now have not been able to cash in on this part of the grind. Now, there will be two items in the store that greatly reduce grind.
1) A scroll that remove relics from your LI - because of course relics are no longer refunded on decon.
2) Legendary item services - This wasn't a big deal because relic combinations were so cheap. When we're looking at 700s a pop, this becomes a really useful purchase.

Personally, I think they've gone a bit too far with the gold cost of relic combines, and I fear if they push the store on players more and more often than they already have, they are going to see players revolt against it.
