The new shininess of RIFT is pulling all manner of new players into the beta tests. With the ability to invite a huge bunch of people on one friend key, gamers have been taking chunks of their guilds with them and forming up in the lands of Telara to battle together against the invading evils. Today's picturesque RIFT screenshot comes to us from Tzvalka, who is part of the Seraphim guild on the Faeblight beta server and who writes in: "Just a majestic shot of the Guardian city of Sanctum taken upon my first arrival to the city."
Have you captured a picturesque image on your recent travels? If so, we'd love to see it. Email yours in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. Please make sure your image is at least 1024 pixels wide and has no visible UI elements. Also, please make sure the image is attached properly, as we're getting a large number of emails with no images at all, or images that have been force-resized by mail clients due to being embedded and not attached. Thanks!

Im going to Play ROM. I'm sure its a fine fine game, but it looks like hell. Though, if I can stomach it for the next lil bit... can you imagine how good Rift will look? My plan is to make a crapton of gold and then give it to a random person in the world when I leave. That should be enough to earn some kharma for Rift :)
Bahmi Tank ftw! :)

@Tizmah Deciding PvE or RP-PvP server...
Just can't decide... I don't mind ganking TOO much but ehh, the reason I hate PvP servers are for shoddy communities. Rift seems like the open world PvP would be so much fun though... I heard that RP-PvP are great servers community wise, and ganking isn't really a problem... but I don't know what to do!

I leveled to 35 through the last 3 betas on an RPPVP server and the community seemed fine. You get ganked sometimes in Scarwood Reach but not camped and most fights were pretty close. Defiant necro/lock but then tried a saboteur which is pretty nuts :P

I have to say I like Meridan from Defiant side better. (Excuse me if I spelled that wrong)

I was going to try RIFTS until a friend who was jaded on the game from beta overdose informed me that that oversized gazebo on an island was the only city in the game, and the actual towns in the game were on a smaller scale than say, Brill in World of Warcraft.
His primary complaint was that people consistently refer to it as a "city", which he says is akin to calling McDonalds a restaurant.
