Accept if they're Cryptic's...it's usually half done. Just saying.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but for me the ONLY thing I find lacking in everything I've seen/heard for GW2 is the character models. The environments, the spell effects, the armor/weapons all look fantastic, but the models just look so flat and generic to me. I think they seem out of place for such a highly detailed world.

I would have loved to see more realistically detailed textures for the characters. I can't really put my finger on it, but something just seems blah about the models for me. I think they just kind of look like Barbie/Ken plastic living in these amazingly detailed environments.

With that said, I can't freaking wait for GW2. If things keep going the way they are, I think GW2 is gonna be one of the few truely fantastic MMO releases we've had in quite some time. It can't come soon enough. Now give me my Mesmer plz.

I can imagine character models can be exteremely tricky. Highly customizable characters will always be a source of great factor of reduced FPS in towns and other highly populated areas. Hopefully this issue can be taken care of when the game is "ready".

Have to agree with you. In the new screenshots, there's one of a group of ladies posing in various outfits. They all look the same, except for height / hair differences.

Environments though, fantastic.

I'm sure they'll upgrade the textures for the characters in the live game. Even the charr's fur look off as well, not just the skins on the humans at the moment.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

Even though there's no sub I may just have to send ArenaNet some money every month anyway, just in gratitude :p

Humans are the toughest to pull off right (graphically) in video games because of the uncanny valley effect. I'm betting the Charr will look a lot better to those who say the humans aren't quite right in the screens and videos.

I had not planned on any of my first several characters in game to be humans, but after seeing some more of Divinity's Reach, it sure makes me think about bumping them up on the list.

I can't wait for Sylvari week, but seeing as they're one of the hotly anticipated aspects of GW2, they'll probably save them for last. :(

Rift seemed pretty good looking and still very hyped, but the raphics are "meh", so is the groundbraking dynamic bla bla same ol same ol. I cannot imagine delivering such visuals without some high end GC in cross/sli :P.
