Always tried to get into the Hunter...never worked for me. I don't really care for nuker classes. I need more melee survivability.

My favorite thing about the hunter class was its pathfinding/portaling ability. As such, the hunter is the only class in LotRO that isn't a total PITA to play from a travel standpoint, imo.

While I enjoyed my time in this game, mostly, I got very tired of and frustrated by its monotonous, time-consuming, and tedious travel systems. LotRO needs to institute as fast travel overhaul in this game. I don't want to have to commute in a game; I get enough of that in real life.

@Tom in VA Travel has been massively improved already. On top of that, the hunter is no longer the only fast travel class; the warden has a few pathfinding skills as well.

Minstrel and Hunter seemed to get some very well-thought-out changes. I wish the same could be said for the Burglar, a class which needed more help than any.

I can't wait until the rework the Champion class, it's been one of the most QQed about class in the game with the Fervour stance changes and Ardour stance. The class was redesigned 3 times every since Vanilla and it's still a partly broken class, can't wait to see how they'll fix it.

@BGExorcist
I just want to start my mentioning that it's not broken, much like the Hunter Class wasn't broken and is the most popular class in the game right now.

Now, a bit of history, at release there were only 2 stances; Glory and Fervour. Fervour was the all-out DPS with no defense and Glory was full defense at the cost of DPS. The "middle" stance was just going stanceless, keeping your defense power without gaining a DPS advantage, at the cost of power regen. Now this worked fine because the power cost of skills hadn't scaled too much and stanceless with the proper traits for ICPR, you could run fine.

Then came Ardour, which at the time was not received well by the community, but nobody used it and that's about it for then. Ardour back then basically reduced your Parry/Evade to 2% each, and completely removed block.

A bit more of history, the guy who mostly responsible for the Champion Class was named Graal, and he really didn't like it that nobody didn't like his class. He often posted on the champion forums about how he wanted people to use it more, and why it was useful, but he lacked answers when people asked him "Why should we use it? It's useless".

Then you had the first redesign, which was made purely to fit in Ardour. They scaled power cost really high, and made the ICPR from Fervour/Glory and Ardour much higher, meaning going stanceless was not possible anymore because you'd run out of power in seconds. Once again, not many people were pleased. While other classes were getting new skills and cool stuff, Champions were being forced to use something nobody like because somebody wasn't pleased that his creation wasn't liked.

Then MoM hit, and the second "redesign". A lot, even too much, legacies about Ardour, if you specced it right Ardour was better than Fervour damage wise. That was kinda lame to be honest, and then came the second raid armor set which had ARDOUR DAMAGE +3% as a bonus set. This pretty much pissed every living champion that had played the game for any decent amount of time.

Then came the third redesign, which drastically changed champion legacies to be more "all-around" then "Go ardour yo", but it wouldn't go just like that, so they slapped an healing penalty on the Fervour stance. So basically, to be competitive in damage, Champions have to sacrifice defense and healing, just to be on par with 2H Guardians (which only sacrifices block) and other DD classes like Hunter and Burglar that dominates use.

So what's broken with the champion class?
A lot.

First of all, Glory Tanks are not viable at all anymore. They used to work, but ever since MoM, damage scaled while glory stayed pretty much the same.

-Ardour is still unused and should be removed IMHO, scale back down power cost and ICPR from fervour and Glory to make stance less viable.

-Merciful Strike is at 20%, all other classes are at 50%, including hunters.

-Many legendary are completely useless due to lack of scaling:
Explosion of Blades and Ferocious Strikes deals too little damage for the cost and difficulty of using the abilities (5 pips abilities can make you miss a pip, which is a direct DPS decrease).

They kinda fixed Fight on, so I won't QQ about it, but still kinda useless.

Invincible, once again, underused and not really used since Glory needs to be redesigned.
