Ever get tired of dealing with "pick up these things and bring x amount of them to me" type quests in World of Warcraft? Well, if you have, may we recommend Soulara's method of dealing with it? Pick up a flamethrower and torch things into next year! Sure, whatever it was won't get to whomever it was supposed to and you might wipe out a lot of trees in the process, but it's a great stress release. Really, more MMOs need flamethrowers, we think. Anyway, our opinion tendered, we move on to the note attached to Soulara's bright World of Warcraft One Shots image: "[Here's a screenshot of my character] toasting up some supply boxes in Stonetalon Mountains with the nifty flamethrower."
If you've found a new favorite weapon or toy, why not take a screenshot of you using it and email it in to us here at oneshots@massively.com? Be sure to include your name, the name of the game, and a note about what makes that particular screenshot so awesome. You never know -- it may wind up being the next one we feature here on Massively!

In WoW you feel like a messenger delivering mail instead of actually playing the game because it has so many fedex type quests still. Time for something better and new I think.

@The Minn Everything about RIFT is new dude. If you are complaining about core concepts, that's like complaining that all FPS games all you do is shoot and run, wait for a character to talk to you before things go to shit again, then shoot more. But we all know each FPS brings something new to the table..just like RIFT does. I don't remember many MMOs where Rifts open up and can over take a city, send out patrols to kill other players after conquering, etc.

Wait...there's flamethrowers in WoW now? I am SO glad I don't play this game anymore. Complete mockery of the Warcraft lore.

@JTK
I'm well aware of what dwarves and (sigh) gnomes brought to the table in Warcraft 2 and 3, but there sure as hell were never any elves running around with flame throwers, that's absolutely ridiculous.

Complaining about tech in warcraft is just idiotic, this world had a lot of high tech from the very beginning (or at least from wc2) .
You are happy that you are not playing because of a flamethrower? I guess you should be glad you somehow managed to miss the planes, submarines, spaceships, nukes (and our very own gnome-Chernobyl-regan), missiles, mecha, power armor, robots, computers, AI, lasers, orbital weapon platforms, titan DDDs and gauss guns that were in there....

Sigh.. Levels 1-60 are the best part of the game now... Except the end game is so bland and boring, I just can't bring myself to level anything. Too few have experienced this new content. Such a waste.

Needs more fire.

Hah, I had no idea it was the alliance burning the crates. On the horde side there is a goblin quest where you have to run around and put the fires out in around the same area. It's even more fun on a PvP server, I was constantly watchin over my shoulder in the hopes to not get rolled by some random ally.

Sounds like you need to stay away from WoW and any steam punk style game. We don't need your shallow opinions, the game is already successful and it got that way without your help. Additionally, you didn't come up with the Warcraft lore, so why say:
"Complete mockery of the Warcraft lore."
You have no part in the process of the lore, and you never contributed to the process of the development of the game. The lore of the game hasn't changed since Warcraft 2, it has only added new ideas. Who would play the Goblin's counterpart in W2? You need something as quirky as a goblin to do suicide bombing runs. I'd like to see a high elf strap on some barrels of dynamite to his back, then explode when they hit an enemy building; That would be a complete mockery of the lore, suicide elf bombers.
