It's time to get those time-off requests in and start saving up travel costs since hearthstones don't seem to work in the real world as yet. Blizzard has just announced that this year's BlizzCon will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on October 21st and 22nd. Of course, if the last few years are any indication, you're also going to need a seriously quick F5 finger to get tickets, lest the dreaded Failoc prevent you from making your geeky pilgrimage to the home of all things World of Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft.
This year marks the sixth year that BlizzCon has run, and it will feature all manner of fun that players have come to expect from Blizzard's annual convention. There will be hands-on game time with the "latest versions" of Blizzard's games, discussion panels with developers, competitive and casual contests, swag to buy, friends to meet up with, and more. Additional details will be announced on the official BlizzCon site as the convention draws closer. Until those details are posted, we'll have to guess who could possibly top Ozzy and Tenacious D as far as a musical guests!

I wonder if they'll finally divulge any info on that heretofore un-named MMO project they are working on...
I am bored to tears of WoW, not interested in Starcraft at all, and only mildly interested in Diablo 3 (I am probably alone in thinking that the previous Diablo games, while well made, were too grim and depressing).
I am really hoping for something new and good from Blizzard.

Totally agree with everything above. I'd love to see Blizzard step outside the box and do something new.

@TheJackman anyone who was paying any attention knew that there wasn't going to be much news at blizzcon last year. they released the Cataclysm trailer the week before(wut?) starcraft 2 was already released earlier in the year. diablo is the only thing that there was a potential for big news.
in my opinion if you only like wow, or starcraft, or diablo, blizzcon is not for you. You'll be bored and disappointed when events that aren't for your particular game show up.
i really hope we get some news on "Titan" maybe a screenshot or two. perhaps the actual name?
