NCsoft offers Aion double XP olive branch over server outages

The thunderous roar you just heard was the sound of thousands of Daevas clapping their hands, stamping their feet, and beating the air with their wings in unison. You may have even heard a few huzzahs and hell-yeahs tossed in for good measure. Why all the fuss? Double XP is returning to Aion. In fact, it's already here, as NCsoft turned on the firehose this morning at server restart.

The bonus runs through next Wednesday, and instance timer lockouts have also been reset (i.e., if you ran Taloc's Hollow last night, feel free to run it again today rather than 46 hours hence). The sudden rash of goodwill stems from the server outages this past Wednesday, many of which occurred during prime time and forced Daevas to seek their entertainment elsewhere.

Is this game still alive ? I heard from a friend that the servers are lagging like hell in NA after they moved the servers to some cheap server farm in Austin. Now they had the servers stability affected because of the power outages due to the cold weather. Can you see the future of Aion ? : NCSoft cut the costs so much that they moved the servers to some cheap low end server farm without a proper power back-up system and a sub-standard network connection. Their CM Ayase quit and is now the CM for Rift , at least half of the other (GM/CMs) also left NCWest.
Judging after the cheap server location and the employees jumping ship the next step is shut down.

@Georgio Well, that's what happens if you fail to satisfy your costumers and doggedly keep counting your subcriptions as equal to happy costumers. Or number of things that don't need to be changed.

@Georgio Hey Zorndorf. That "friend" didnt happen to be just another sockpuppet of yours which never played the game either and just slanders about it, because it is competition on the market to WoW? Or did you just make that friend up for the sake to post some slander in another Aion news thread?
Oh btw Zorndorf, how can you say Ayase quit!? You where so confident to frame me as Ayase in your failed attempt of a NO-U comeback because I named some of your other sockpuppets?

Actually it doesn't seem dead at all. Granted the noob areas don't have that many people, but there is plenty of ganking in the abyss and I haven't experienced any lagg at all.

You have a different experience than some frequent "contributor" because you play/played Aion.
Not just hate on it and make up "stories" of you or your "friends" about it because it happens to be a competitioner title of some other gametitle you are a rabid fanboy of.
