A) "Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor." - Starship Troopers

B) What's a good alternative to "they?" The one people seem to favor is he/she, which is awkward in any sort of literature, and "it," which sometimes carries negative connotations. What do you use, Bree?

C) I'm going to be trying to check out EVE, but I haven't logged on since the patch and my connection sucks, so here's hoping.

Star Trek Online for me. For some reason, it's getting pretty addictive. Although the thought of switching to EVE has occurred, I like having the option to have ground-based combat, even if it's weak.

Crossing my fingers that I win that crazy IGN gift bundle for this week, because I'm out here with no systems at all but an early 2000 laptop that overheats listening to music : (

So... virus scanning... sighing at the lack of weekend gaming news... and that's about it.

Still hammering through my return to WoW. Enjoying my time there.

As someone who left Subscription games for the world of F2Ps almost two years ago (and enjoyed my time with them) I have to admit I am being charmed by WoW's excellent Quest system. I had forgotten how innovative some of the quests were.

Trying to catch up to my boy in Champions. He converted his chars, I didn't want to ruin mine and just rerolled a new account. I was surprised that they changed the end of the tutorial and the beginning of the regular area questing.

Unfortunately I was dumb and picked one of the few archetypes that has no aoe and I'm getting the crap kicked out of me.

Archebus, part B); A good solution is to speak in a Yorkshire (UK) accent. Then he and she can both be said as " 'e ". ^^
Or you could use an invented pronoun, such as zhe.
Personally though, I just use they, or one.
