I'm not really seeing where the "revolutionary" part of their PvP is. Ganking a raid doing a World Boss and a different version of Alterac Valley aren't revolutionary.

I'm not knocking the quality of the game, but I keep seeing claims about RIFT shaking things up, and then seeing videos of a different looking WoW/WAR/Aion.

Yeah nothing new about gankfests.

I thought darkfall had some good hard core idea's but it seems the game sucks so bad even pure PVP cant keep subs.

Do one (PVP or PVE) good rather than do both half assed.

I laughed at his last comment too, hard to keep a straight face when right now they are not delivering the experience they lead you to believe in that video..and i like this title so far, lets hope they wise up a bit and listen to potential subbers, not their own hype.

@Graill440 right up until now, in beta, they DO listen. as I see it, they keep the hype low, at least if compared to other games I've seen.

during beta many things were changed, so there are good chances they will keep on doing shat they are already doing.

balancing will take place, including some nerfing, which is impossible to avoid. listening to EACH potential customer is counter-productive, there some games ruined by QQ and FFA-PVP fanboys. many requests are absurd or mutually exclusive. leaving design to a swarm of incompetent kids will ruin every game, even WoW or EVE would be.

the best thing is to have clear ideas about product placement and satisfy customers of your niché, not just the mass. small bugs/suggestions are easy to change. but changing strategic gameplay or product placement cannot pay off the effort.

Well I WAS interested in this game.
Unless they completely separate pvp and pve it will do nothing but degenerate to the ridiculous levels that the 800 pound gorilla has.
