If you're reading this now, it's a safe bet you enjoy reading the site, even if you may not agree with every word that crosses our pages. If you're a commenter, we already know how you feel, but it's the silent majority that intrigues us. Do you like the new site redesign? Do you listen to the podcast? What's your favorite column? These are some of the things we want to know as we move forward into the future of Massively.
So we've constructed a simple survey of 12 questions for our readers to answer. If there's something bothering you about the site, this is how you can let us know. If you love something in particular, we want to hear that too! Every answer is confidential and not tied to any email address or Massively account.
Keep in mind that this survey isn't for advertising purposes or to dictate any major changes to the site. We (mostly me) are simply curious about what the majority of readers feel is right or wrong about the site. We always value your input, and we want to do what we can to make Massively the best site it can be.

A followup to Jef's commentary on the difference between gaming blogs and real journalism?

Sorry, but the new website theme is terrible. I wish AOL would have kept their hands off of what wasn't broken.

@TKOtheKDR I kinda miss the old website too. Personally for me, I don't like how I load up the screen and the first article title doesn't even fit in my browser window, and I have to scroll down every time to see the first headline. Things are too spaced out, and the articles feel less emphasized than the other site; however, I guess we have to live with it. The content is still just as awesome, at least! =)

Have to agree with Dril, don't need the asshatery that MMORPG.com gets.

Same i basically said it would be nice to get a couple of peoples opinion on the game at the same time instead
scores are over rated especially when you only have one reviewer
since if people think the scores too high they call pay off and bias and if it's too low they call bias again

Scores are worthless - they're subjective but really don't tell you much when compared to the subjective opinions you read in the "review" anyway.
Unless you're a sheep who can't be bothered to read an article to find out if you'll like a game, and just want a website to dictate to you which game to play next.

The link to this "survey" doesn't work, I'm browsing Massively from Firefox if it makes any difference.

Definately quite a few things id like to see corrected on this site. I didnt get enough room to voice my hate for the redesign but id like to state it here:
Go back to the old site with the black background

You folks have already been instructed by the masses using this site. You know whats good and bad, at least you have been told this over several years, many, many times. Most recently the request to sack whomever designed the color theme of your slightly improved site.
Those of us still using craft paper to hide the glaring theme and/or wearing sunglasses find the tedium of being asked again and again "what do you think? ....questionable. This leads me to believe your bosses do not have a clear grasp of what the other hand is doing.
I also do not do surveys, why? The answer would upset you.
You Massively folks have been tasked by your fans numerous times, it is now your turn to storm into your bosses office and give them what for.....and such. After your brilliant, albeit spontaneous presentation your bosses should give you a blank check to accomplish all you need to do with this site.
Be sure to have a backup job ready incase your bosses are as selfish and thin skinned as i guess they are.
A side note, some folks dont like it if you stand on their desk, though its still an option.

They haven't been instructed by the masses, they've been instructed by the opinionated commenters who can be bothered to post their views - i.e. people like you and I. A lot of people would far rather complete a quick survey than post their views where they can be attacked by other people.
As for the overly bright white background, I'm quite glad my monitor has eco settings - I just set it to -40% power every time I click my Massively link and that takes some of the painful brightness out - it certainly beats wearing my ski goggles that were designed to combat snow-blindness. But one of my comments on the survey was that I would like Massively to add some different colour/style selections, preferably at least one with a dark background.
