Massively: DC Universe Online is the third traditional MMO to launch in the superhero genre after City of Heroes. How does the CoH team plan to compete with a new game with plenty of luster?

....

Okay, I have to ask. Did anybody at Massively actually bother logging in and even trying the beta for DCUO? Based on this question, I'd say it's a fair chance that no editor or writer at Massively did anything more than look at screenshots.

@Zerias

I played the beta and DCUO has plenty to offer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

@Zerias Hi Zerias! We've actually got a couple of Massively staff who have been participating in the beta very enthusiastically. They've started a regular LIvestream of the game and a DC Universe Online column -- you can find both of those on the site every week. Enjoy!

I recently came back to CoH and I am enjoying the game. I'm not sure how long I will last, but I did end up getting the expansion. The game has an old-school grind to it that can be a tedious hurdle, but for now I am having fun...

This interview didn't really turn up any info. I wish there was more info on what they are still doing with issue 19 and the upcoming 20.

@Zantom

Wouldn't it be nice if they actually did do something about that grind?

@Utakata

Agreed! I only hope it doesn't feel much worse after all my "rested XP" is spent up.

I tried CoH and DCUO (in beta). I uninstalled DCUO a few days ago and have subbed to CoH. I'm going to let my money do the talking.
