I suppose we'll soon have a gameplay trailer showing the beauty of their new graphics :)

No matter how cute and pretty they make the game, the community will still be one the worst in any MMO I have played. Full of griefers and elitists sticking to their cliques and unwilling to socialize with anyone outside them. No one wants to stop for a moment and teach or help someone new. Some legions even have pacts with the other faction to gank and weed out the "unworthy" people from farming for gear or even playing in that area.

And of course, it's the first P2P game with an actual cash shop and looking for every way to weed out extra money from players on top of the standard MMO fee.

Thanks but no thanks. I'd rather play a niche game with a helpful and open community than this.

So have they made this game less of a grind fest on mobs walking in straight lines?

@Thac0

Haven't played since 1.9., but the grind was fixed way back then.

Yes, it was rather fixed in 1.9 and 2.0. They added many easy & repeatable quests, changed reward exp from quests ect. ect. Sometime I wished to stop my alt lvling soo fast, coz it lvled out from instance lvl too fast ;)

Also money is not a big problem nowadays, on my 11 lvl alt I had nearly 0,5kk kinah, and then I started my main with game realise such amount I had at 40 maybe xP

In 2.1 they also fixed drop rate of loot from bosses, so "grind" is far far more less than in the day 1.

So if you remember how it was at the beginning, yes now you can feel that improvement in this matter.

Yeah I actually re-subbed this weekend and spent an hour or two on my old characters (very low level). The progression rate seemed much better already in that small time and so did the drop rate and Kinah. I have to say I found it to be very fun!

Thanks for the reply... what server and what side are you? I could always use some friends in game ;)
