I always liked that box art for the original Ultima Onlline. It was simple yet elegant to me. Once you opened up the cover, you saw the artwork that displayed a huge battle going on that was really cool to look at while you fantasized about getting ready to play the game while it installed :)

I like the original WoW box art with the elf chick and the dwarf with a gun. It's simple, yet so stylish and evocative, juxtaposing feminine with masculine and tech with fantasy. Runner-up would maybe be the GW expansions mentioned previously. I know I've picked up Nightfall a few times partly just to look at the box again and feel tempted.

Hmm a blindfolded scantily clad woman. I wonder why that's a favourite, haha.

MMO Box art would probably have to go to the WoW CE editions. I like the simplicity.

The only other one I can think of that's memorable is one of the Lord of the Rings Online boxes, but not sure which it was.

Vanilla WoW box art i have to say. Burning Crusade also, due to use of lovely green and the same duality approach. I also thought that the european WAR box art was kinda neat (the white one).

The definite favorite of all the MMO boxes I own is the Warhammer Online CE box. Sadly the game didn't live up to the same standards.

The first 3 EQ boxes were incredible.

Vanguard's box hold's a place in my heart too, since it included Keith Parkinson's final art piece before his passing.

fallout 1 and 2 ... mostly fallout 1 though, with the BOS power armor on the fold up flap.

I can still remember picking it up off of the Electronics Boutique shelf more clearly than my first sexual experience, that's kinda sad isn't it?

Definitely that box right there. Guild Wars Factions CE is very nice. ^^
I do like all guild wars boxes however, maybe because they bring back oh such good memories.

I really liked the Vanguard and Warhammer Online CE Boxes, but there have been quite a few good ones when you take the time to look at them.

You know, some people may not call it "art", but "art" is in the eye of the beholder and deals with substance, like sculpture.

So, with that introduction, I would say I actually enjoyed the simple, black presentation of the Tabula Rasa CE box. It's something not many companies do: Black, sleek and raised lettering that are also black.

Not much else has left a lasting impression on me.

Keith Parkinson's art from the original EverQuest, plus the Kunark & Velious expansions that followed.

The boxes even had a gatefold front cover so that you could see the entire full length picture inside in all its glory.
