To get 30/50 on my HoM in Guild Wars... 3 more points to go :)

Also, to play TOR and GW2.

I'm going to stop buying MMOs like they're going out of style.

Also, are those almonds in the stuffing? Yech.

@Omali

QFT. IT seems these days, unless you are purchasing a game from Turbine or Blizzard, being an early adopter is punished with buggy, incomplete games. MY resolution is to wait a month (or a Steam sale) to try new MMOs, its not as if they are going anywhere. Im looking forward to Rift, GW2 and Tera, but Ill wait a month or more before trying them, till the dust and growing pains of a launch has settled. Well, maybe not GW2, I do wanna try that day 1.

Damn, this resolution is going to be hard to keep. :p

I plan on playing GW2 when that comes out, I plan on trying to purchase the rest of the quest packs I don't own yet in LotRO, and I plan on attempting to make some kind of headway in GW1.

Last year my resolution was to never sub to an MMOG unless its at least a year old. Considering the releases of the last few years it seemed like a good idea.

My only resolution is to break my last year's resolution. With Rift, GW2, and SWTOR it seems like these devs understand that quality needs to come first.

Since I spend too much time playing MMOs my resolution last year was to try to finish one different (single player) game per month for a total of 12 during the year.
I got off to a good start, went off the track a bit in the middle of the year but I'm at 11/12 now and with just enough time to finish off Alan Wake before the new year!
It's good to get a bit of variety, so next year I'll be doing the same.

I plan to continue to demand an appearance tab in World of Warcraft until they join the other MMORPGs in 2011 rather than maintaing a level of customization outdated in 2004.

I'm going to keep looking out for those games that no one talks about, yet are always pleased to play, and more than happy to find a home in. Really, just keep doing what I'm doing -- cuz there are a ton of new offerings in '11!

To finally put WoW behind me.

I did pretty good last year and took about four months off right before Cata hit. Cata just hasn't been 'all that' for me... Was great for the first 15 levels or so of the two new races and the 5 levels getting to 85 twice, but it quickly became the same old 2004 Corolla, but with new tires and a big airbrushed dragon on the hood!

:P

The problem is, WoW is *still* the best MMO out there, even after all these years and countless attempts from countless studios... I'm thinking I just need to step back from MMOs in general for a while and revisit the genera in a couple years. :)

After a year with practically no mmorpg-playtime I'm gonna buy and play RIFT for sure.
Additionally I'm gonna follow the GW2 development really close.

Didn't really play many MMOs this year tbh. I'm planning to play TERA and possibly GW2 if it makes it in 2011.

I want to play TOR and GW II. Boost my PI production in Eve. Continue to expand on original music. Think less mainstream and not follow trendy market trends.

My 2011 MMO resolution is: no more long-term subs bought up front. Although it plays to part of my overarching problem with subscription games, I have embraced the fact that most MMOs are just not going to hold my attention in the long-run, so trying to get the most for my money just results in me playing games I don't enjoy that much for longer than is comfortable for my playstyle.

I will simply grit my teeth and pay my dues each month until GW2 comes out and I can re-evaluate the whole shabang.

Play MMOs for only as long as they hold my interest. Try to be more ruthless cutting ties (and subscriptions) with old MMOs that I still like. Stake out a CE version of Guild Wars 2. Find some time away from MMOs to play all these other games I've been accumulating from Steam sales.

Quit Wow, is my number 1, I'm not a fan of paying monthly for a console game, which Wow has become.
And then hopefully find another good MMO,
