City of Heroes was something I'd been looking for for ages. Superheroes are my thing, more than fantasy settings. Aside from that, the Darkness powersets let me pretend to be a Protoss Dark Templar and blind all my foes with the power of the void and the stars.

Guild Wars - it was my first MMO, so of course it has a special place in my heart. My best friends over time have always just happened to have an account, so it's been a way for me to interact with old and new friends. The co-op parts of the game are tremendously enjoyable, and its option of playing singly with NPCs or cooperatively with friends always gives me something I want.

Guildwars for me and I would have to say it was the friends I met along the way that made me stay.

Oh man, definitely Guild Wars. Came for the glorious art, stayed for the community, challenges and events. It scratches all my MMO itches without the nightmare grind, and at least every couple of weeks I find some new and fantastic vista that leaves me shaking my head in awe.

The artists that work on that game are complete and utter geniuses. I would play it just for the visuals.

Guild Wars.
What first interested me was, unlike other games, that it was free after I payed for it at the store. No monthly fees was a big thing for me as a middle school student with no money and parents who wouldn't pay a subscription.
Now, more than five years later, I still play almost everyday.

Guild Wars.

It is by far, hands down, the best MMO I have played. It drew me in by being visually very intriguing, and beautiful. It kept me hooked by finding a great guild, with players I am able to interact and play with. =)

I love playing guild wars. I enjoy the game play, the quality of the graphics, and the ease of teaming up with friends. I really enjoy the festivals, and the costumes. It is just a fun game that takes skill to play.

My fave game is Guild Wars all the way. From the realistic characters and environments to the low grind and free to play system. I hope to win one of the Costume Codes.

Guild Wars. My friends bugged me for 2 years to get this game. I was the typical console gamer and hated everything MMO before actually trying one.
Some extra cash and some finished exams + a great deal on Steam had me trying Guild Wars for the first time. I loved it. Character creation, the professions and the beautiful Canthan landscape (played Factions first) drew me in. 1 year and a half later, I'm actively pursuing the highest PVE rank God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. With only 6 titles left to go, and thousands of hours invested, Guild Wars is simply the strongest connection to a game I have.
Also recently the developments in the storyline of Guild Wars with War in Kryta, Hearts of the North and the book Ghosts of Ascalon continue the Guild Wars lore that will continue for me in Guild Wars 2!

I love Guild Wars.

I got hooked by the quality of the scenarios and how different they are. You can sit in a shore of the sea in a quiet beach or you can stand in the cold Shiverpeaks in the middle of a high snowy weather. You can stay watching your screen without even moving your character, you just get hypnotized for a while looking all around.

City of Heroes is my favorite; I love modern era games, and superhero games as well. It is the best of both worlds for me.

CoX. I was hooked by the shot at playing heroes way back before beta, and the way they closed their beta cemented my affection.

Guild Wars. Being free to play (unlike most other "name" MMO's) was a big point for me, but then I got hooked on the gameplay, the graphics and the community. Still going strong 3 years later with Legendary Survivor characters in all 10 professions and going through my 3rd Wintersday!
