GamersFirst rezzes Acclaim 9Dragons characters

Where's a good cleric when you need one? Apparently they're at the GamersFirst offices, performing the herculean task of reanimating thousands of 9Dragons characters left for dead when Acclaim (the title's original publisher) pulled the plug on the martial arts MMORPG this past summer.

If you're a former 9Dragons player and you submitted a character request earlier this year, you can now claim your rebuilt level 80 avatar at the official GamersFirst website. "We are excited to finally be able to offer character restoration options for the 9Dragons community. We want players to know that we appreciate their support during our transition. We have spent a large amount of time and effort processing and improving the template characters to get players back into the game without having to redo all their hard work from before," said David Demers, 9Dragons Associate Producer.

Glad to see it's back, but I still have yet to sign up with GamerFirst.

The game was alright, IMO, in small doses between games. I tend to like it over other similar Martial Arts Asian F2P games.

right there are a fue facts wrong hear they have not reanimating thousands of 9Dragons characters what they have done is make template chars with substandard items that are not good enough to play the game with. GamersFirst had very little to do with the templates, the developers did all the work and thay dident put much work into it, the hole process was bugged from the start, from when we filled in in the forms in September to the claims proses to get a template, no one got conformation emails of what they had claimed as a result, many people got back something they dident think they asked for and other's where told thay dident claim anything. just take a look at the forum for evidence http://forums.gamersfirst.com/index.php?showforum=533,

I don't want to sound ungrateful because they dident have to do anything at all but they gave us some promises they have since removed from the forum hoping we would forget, they have know intenshen of carrying out there promises to the letter, and never did they gave empty promises to get people to start playing the game now its full of bugs and hackers.
