Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! Bring the family on down to the Sodom arena for no-holds barred PvP deathmatch action! Yep, you read that title right, folks. GodStoria, the browser MMO formerly known as The Bible Online, is gearing up to bring you stylized action violence with a unique flavor (mmm, salty). German game publisher FIAA GmbH says this is just the tip of the iceberg for the Biblical MMORTS/RPG hybrid.
"We would like to listen to player feedback and suggestions so that we can bring out additional PvP and daily quest updates in the official version of the Sodom and Gomorrah update," says FIAA spokeswoman Jane Lee in a press release from earlier today. GodStoria's PvP options are but a small portion of the Sodom and Gomorrah beta patch (which also includes new item sets). The update is currently scheduled to take a bow on December 21st.

Just remember, those who flee and look back will be turned into a pillar of salt. Just FYI.

Surely they could have at least picked out some cool latin word or something for the name instead.
Come on guys. Come on.

Really. "Godstoria"...that's just bad "Engrish" of a throwback to the old "Hyserteria" animated Kid's show on Kids WB.
And PvP in a game like this? Next I'll be seeing Fatalities and PvP in "Hello Kitty Online".

"GodStoria," AND Sodom and Gomorrah PVP at the same time. That's an impressive level of disturbing.
I feel like 2 short paragraphs that creep me out that much should really be about a Cthulhu game.

This title is near April Fool's quality ....
I can already picture the trash talk from the Sodom PvPers, it pretty much writes itself....

Haha that's the first thing I thought! That it was some sort of joke, like if you don't give us a better name we'll call the game this!

It's like this dev team is trolling Christianity. Even worse then Satan trolled Jesus during Christ's temptation.
I hope the next battleground is Christian slave vs. Lion in the Colleseum in Rome.

That was my thought.. the whole thing comes across like an MMO made by the Landover Baptist Church.

Don't forget the incest! If this game actually follows the Bible it's going to be the sicked, most twisted game ever.

GodStoria?! That's what they came up with? They should have left it at "The Bible Online'.
Didn't God destroy Sodom & Gomorrah because of decadent PVP arenas or was that just in the movie? Ah well, I'm back to AoC.

I think they're playing Discovery Institute name card. That is, something with nice, aesthetic and innocuous name that is really about peddling evangelism
into the game. The same way DI uses its nice, aesthetic and innocuous name to bring intellligent design into American shcools for evangelical purposes...
...players be very afraid.
