Hard to say, I've played both. Though I currently play LoTRO, crafting in this game is just really well done IMO. Though the Shroud was fun to get used to and DDO's puzzles really just rock. And my DDO Rogue was awsome. Currently though the Huntard keeps me occupied in LoTRO. Go Go Turbine handedly one of the best studio's around right now I think.

LotRO. It's all about the lore. Besides, any game with Hobbits is better than any game without Hobbits. ;-)

I prefer DDO to Lotro. I personally find the dungeons more immersive and entertaining.

I much prefer DDO. It just feels off to follow someone other than the fellowship in Middle Earth

I prefer Lord of the Rings. Mainly because I am such a huge fan of the books. Also, the game is really good looking, one of the better ones out there I think.

I would say LoTRO is better because of the rich lore and because I just enjoy playing it more than DDO. Not to say DDO isn't good but for me LoTRO keeps me coming back for more, more so than DDO.

Im totally in love with LOTRO right now. What i like most about it is how everything from Itemlooks to Spells fit into the world.

The Lord of the Rings Online!

I love DDO's combat system but few games match the immersion factor of LotRO, its charm, its loyalty to the books, and its many great classes.

Being a Tolkien nerd helps a lot too.

LotRO- Many reasons, fantastic world history, great RP on Landroval, epic storyline and the best overall player base I have encountered in 11 years of playing MMOs.

DDO was always my favorite of the two. The traps and puzzles that had to be solved along with a great classic D&D feel always made me happy. While LotRO is fun, I think it lacks some of the oldschool charm that DDO has.

LOTRO by far. I love the way healing works, and the fact that those musically inclined enough can put on performances for the rest of us.

I play DDO whenever I get the chance. I love the feeling of being destroy armies of mobs with the flick of the wrist.

You just gotta love both, I really enjoy the new additions to LotRO but some of the core gameplay on DDO keeps me coming back every so often! I would choose to get the Lifetime in DDO if possible, because I already have it for LotRO!

I knew there will be life time ViP giveaway for my favorite LOTRO to win that....best of luck to everyone.

Why LOTRO is my favorite, well i have read Golum, right before LOTRO series, was on 1st Lotro in cinema...since world premiere i was fallen in love in that title, i did play LOTRO for like 7 months and i love it!!!, end of cash and few MMO's and i did back to play on Lotro f2p not long ago. Hope i can win that ViP to have more joy. ;)

I enjoy Lord of the Rings Online more than DDO. To me there's a lot more to do in LotRO. Also I have a lot more friends playing it.

I like LOTRO, it has the depth and content needed to keep me going. It also is not as cartoonie as some others.

This is not going to win me any prizes but I would just like to bemoan the fact that once again we have a prize draw that is only available to residents of North America. MMOs are international games, none more so, and yet we always see these prize giveaways restricted to a subsection of the audience. LotRO is a case in point, with Europe getting the shitty end of the stick every time; how many weeks did we have to wait for the F2P update? Someone somewhere needs to figure out how to include everyone in these things.
