Nexon has just what Vindictus players want for the holidays -- more content! Episode 4: King of the Gnolls has just been released to the live servers, and with it comes a variety of additions. This new patch raises the level cap to 44, perfect for players who had already maxed out their characters. Additionally, weaponry has been updated to add three new stats: balance, critical hits, and attack speed. A host of new powers has been added to the Evie, Fiona and Lann archetypes as well, offering new ways to lay the smack down -- but that's not all!
Also added in this update are two new high-level dungeons: Prairie Entrance and the Ruins of Sanctity. The Prarie Entrance offers wide-open spaces and challenging trap-filled landscapes, requiring players to employ a bit more strategy than just running in and smacking everything around. Meanwhile, the Ruins of Sanctity is a dark, overgrown area where particularly nasty monsters are lurking around every corner, ready to snack on your face. We've snagged a handful of screenshots from the new areas and added them to the gallery below. For those who prefer their action in video form, check behind the break for some shiny new Vindictus gameplay footage.

What I want to know is when the next character will be released. Lann has too much of the "pretty-boy" aesthetic going on. The next character looks like a a big ugly brawler. Exactly, what characters should be like in a game with such brutal combat. The current characters look like a bunch of Korean pop idols running around.

Personally, I would like someone from massively to get in touch with NEXON and ask why aren't certain game breaking bugs fixed even after over a month. The company so far is pretty pathetic to listen to any of their consumer base about major issues/bugs plaguing the game....

Aye, and lag is still a major issue from what I've seen, they need to either get dedicated servers and treat it as if it was one of their other countless games, or implement something to at least sort out bad connections for you.
And more content for this game is the last thing I want. The one thing I want is permanent hair and armor options, and not be ripped off with a $8-25 monthly fee.

@DevilSei
I have only had lag when joining other peoples boats, when I start it myself me and whoever else joins usually has at least 4 bars. I think the issue is with the peer to peer way they do grouping. My PC is a monster rig with state of the art crap in it, so when I host null sheen. If someone with a rig thats barely able to run the game hosts though it's understandable why trying to render something for 1-3 other people ALSO tends to slow things down.
As far as the game adding yet another gnoll though....I mean....how many freaking gnolls do we need? Slightly different color, took off his hat and added flames to his hammer....but I think I have seen this guy before somewhere...
