Screenshots looks about par for most f2p games (not complaining) hopefully we will get some in game videos so we can get an idea of how it looks in action.

I am all for more steampunk MMOs, though it looks like they are mixing it with magic as well.

@Unshra

Magic is fine. Tell me you wouldn't play an MMO based on Arcanum.

Steampunk? Has my attention. Hopefully its semi-decent for a F2P.

Their about section keeps talking about how they are different, yet we see the same confict between good and bad used ad nauseam in so many MMOs.

I'd like to see a AAA studio tackle steam punk. Such a fun genre, but I have little faith in the F2P space right now.

"a variety of quests, PvP modes, professions, and a pet system."

Wow! Sounds like a gaming revolution in and of itself; I can't wait!

Although...steampunk....

Lay rest to your anticipation people... This pile of S... junk is even criticized by the Korean community for its... generic aspects.
Well, one might enjoy it and it does have "new" ideas, but implemented poorly and eventually very very boring.
Aka. Its your generic f2p

Aika had some steampunk stuff in it like the rifleman, gunner and their hover bikes.

NeoSteam is Steampunk, but how would massively know about that since they refuse to cover Atlus Online's releases ....

this game has got RF - Clone written all over it, so I haven't got a single shred of interest in it.

@Fakeassname Neo Steam was a dead game though last I heard. Browsing the forums seems to indicate that the GMs seem nonexistent, Dragonica is yet to be released, and RVR is busted.

@Dblade

yeah, I know. I'm more bitching about massively not covering Atlus Online stuff in favor of crap like this title.

technically, NeoSteam is not dead, the population is somewhat lacking, but it's got just as much publisher support as any other game that gets covered here (events, sales, drama) despite being a typically unsupported hanabit title. also, Atlus Online has got another game on the way for being released (Pandora Saga) in less than a month, yet Massively has completely ignored it despite repeated tip offs.

Is NeoSteam dead? One of my old favorites although I haven't logged in for a while. I will log in today and see if it's still there.

One of the information pages says "optional free aiming mode", which sounds promising.

The music in it seems quite nice - will keep an eye on how this one develops, though I'm normally not a fan of free-to-play games.

No NeoSteam isn't dead. And it's name popped into my head when they said there were no other Steampunk MMOs to name. I thought "They can't seriously not know about Neo Steam?"

Remnants of Skystone is also one, tho on a different scale, it's still a steampunk MMORPG.

Allods is part steampunk, guess that doesn't count?

Divine Souls is claiming it's steampunk some places, haven't seen enough of it to know.
