Good.

Don't rush it.

This game will hopefully shape up nicely but I have a horrible feeling in my stomach :(

@Grumms Could it be something you ate last night?

I agree, they should take their time and not rush the release.

@Grumms My sentiments exactly. I love Star Wars, and I trust BioWare- but there's still a lingering bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Quite possibly it could. Homemade tacos last night.

I have faith in Bioware but you never know. I was behind WAR to the fullest and had the utmost trust in them. But, eh.

Anyhow, this is good news in my opinion. Hopefully can grab some beta time soon!

They have been in testing mode for months. Nothing presented to us has been even close to low quality. Bioware does not put out crap products. If SOE was involved then you would have a reason to be worried.

Oh and one of the posters above me mentioned WAR. Bioware did not make WAR and had nothing to do with the develpment of it. Mythic and Bioware "merged" 8 months or so after WAR was released.

So much doom and gloom with MMO fans.

@Azev
My above comment has NOTHING to do with Bioware / Mythic.

I was just merely stating that I was looking forward to WAR just as much as I am SWTOR and it let me down.

While it might be polished it isn't new or original in any meaningful way that they have shown us yet. If the best they have is story then the game is in trouble because the story WILL run out and when it does people will quit. Since they need over 1 million subs to break even after a year, which only 1 western MMO has ever done, it doesn't look they put enough time into figuring out the games carrot on a stick mechanic to keep people playing.

The fear in my stomach is that they just copied WoW and a dozen other WoW clones where endgame is a few instances, a few raids, and battleground(warzone) PvP. Sorry, but I and a few million other MMO fans have done that before and find it boring now. I currently don't see SWTOR lasting me more than 2-3 months.

The people with "bad feelings" now are only going to see negative things once the game is released because thats all they will be looking for. I'm glad I can wait to play the actual game before making up my mind.

Absolutely not true.

I actually see myself liking the game no matter what, just because it Star Wars / Bioware.

So we learned that Q2 2011 that we were told about six months ago is april at the earliest. And I was so confused when the second quarter begins..

TOR's official site has said since January the game is targetted for spring 2011...or, you could have looked at EA's quarterly reports/projections, which have said all along this game won't launch in EA's fiscal 2011. Also, their fiscal year runs Apr 1st to Mar 31st, not Dec 31st.

This is in no way,shape, or form, news.

I agree. How is this news? Me, and everyone I know who is following this game was expecting May at the earliest due to previous comments from Bioware/ EA.

Is it just me or does the lightsaber blades look kinda thin compared to the hilt? Did the community really got Bioware to change it to it's current look? It looks kinda odd when you see the whole thing together with the hilt and the character models.

Everything looks kinda chunky and then you have these really thin lightsaber blades. Weird decision.

I feel bad for Bioware in regard to lightsabres. They have been getting lots of flack since the first screenshot. And of course, this is something you want to get right. one of the most iconic things from the franchise. I hope this is simply still another work in progress or maybe simply an outdated picture. I'm sure by release it will shape up nicely.

This game needs ALOT of work imo.

In it's current state there is no way i would buy it. While it's better than alot of the recent failed mmo's its just pretty mediocre.

Perhaps if you are insane for SW you might be slightly more enthused.

@toothball

Did you play it? Otherwise you have no idea what you are talking about.

In its current state? You mean a game that is at least 4-5 months from release. Again with an attitude like this you are better off avoiding the game. You won't like it no matter what they do.
