Yesterday's surprise reveal of Guild Wars: Hearts of the North came with some very exciting extras for Massively. First, John Stumme spent some quality time with us, giving us all the inside scoop on this new content.
The second extra goes straight to you, our readers. You see, Hearts of the North includes all sorts of new costumes and headpieces for players. Here at Massively, we managed to get our hands on 10 costume packs, and we are in a sharing mood. We've got five Wedding Couple packs (which include the bride and groom attire) and five Wedding Party packs (which include the entire set of costumes).
Would you like one for your very own? Then talk to us! What do you love about the new content? What are you looking forward to seeing in Hearts of the North? Let us know in the comments section below by 11:59 p.m. EST tonight and you'll be entered in a random drawing for one of these costume packs! Don't forget to check out our contest rules, and good luck!
[Update: All winners have been chosen and emailed. Congratulations!]

When I saw that there was a (sizable) new build, I checked the wiki notes, and awesome! New content! They also made BLA a bit easier, enough so that I was able to H/H it whereas when I tried it before, I was steamrolled by a steady stream of Jades before they even activated the Infusion shield.
I was happy to be able to progress on the new quests, though I still would like to try the old difficulty somewhat, for the challenge.
As for the new content - I think Thackeray and Miku have enough chemistry together that it's a shame that we already know Gwen and he are 'destined' to be together. Compared to that, the string of dialogues we've seen don't really show much on the part of Gwen - in a constructive manner, at least. Her panic over Thackeray's fate seems a little bit contrived - probably because we don't get to see their interactions out in the field.
I hope the upcoming scenes/dialogue show something more.
Quest-wise, I did enjoy the 4 combat missions so far. The overly powerful skills that Keiran gets are quite fun, and yet it's still easy to die from overaggro or simply an unfortunate combination of enemies - blind from shadowsong/ele/assassins, interrupts from rangers/assassins, hex removal and healing from healers.
I also quite enjoyed the recurring 1250 vanguard quest reward :)
Overall, quite happy with things as they are here, and looking forward to more.

This new content update is pretty awesome. The Bonus Mission Pack
style missions and playing as Thakeray is going to be fun. With this
new update, my LDoA is gonna have to wait a little bit longer. I cant
wait to see all the new quests and stuff! I wonder how they are going
to have the actual wedding between Gwen and Thakeray.
All the questions make it so much more exciting!

Excited to see how Kieran will re-woo Gwen after making her worry so much! But in general I'm just happy there is new content to play through with my friends!

I love how they're updating Guild Wars with fresh new content. Great way to show that they care about their fans, and lure old players back before Guild Wars 2!

Can't complain about FREE new content, and it's always great to see the story expanded. There's never too much of that and having waited so long since the War in Kryta ended it was a really pleasant surprise to get the new playable content immediately (instead of getting a preview of things coming 'soon' when it's ready). Also I really like the fact the GW:Beyond stories are carried over multiple updates, otherwise I'd just complete them all in one evening. Just one thing, test your stuff more, it's really buggy this time, but at least the fixes are coming quick so great job Anet!

I'm really looking forward to seeing a wedding ceremony, possibly one where everyone in guild wars can attend in a district of a town, as an event or something. Also, to be able to play as Thackeray and understand where he comes from and grows as a character is absolutely top-notch. Now if only we could use a few of his skills in regular PvE...
That said, I absolutely cannot wait for the Mission outpost and increased hero limits for personal partying! Yay!

Nifty. Havent been able to log in for a couple days though. I guess I'm most interested in Thackeray's story though, particularly that some of the quests involve Maguuma... that seems like it would go in the opposite direction that one would expect. New (revamped) explorables in the Northern Shiverpeaks (Anvil Rock, etc) would have taken him to EotN.

So glad that NCSoft is continuing to add on to the original Guild Wars. Not only is it showing they're caring about the fans, but it's making me even more excited for Guild Wars 2!

I think I'm too late for the contest, but I just wanted to add my two cents on the topic: I'm loving the way the HotN quests are giving us backstory. It's awesome to see character perspective, so we can really become emotionally invested in the events that shape their (and our) lives.
I'm hoping we'll get to see Thackeray's secret garden, which he's been tending in anticipation of the picnic that never was.

I've just been getting into the game and trying to follow all this lore. It took me awhile to recognize the name Thackeray and realize that's the guy from Destiny's Edge.
Playing through GW's past is easing the unbearable anticipation for GW2, and getting me even more excited at the same time.

Now waiting for the final ceremony.

I love to see Keiran and Gwen story to develop. She's been through so much and it's great to finally witness some happy chapter of her story. I also enjoy this BMP-style storytelling. It's much better to take part in someting than just to hear that it happened from some NPC. And Keiran looks better now. Although I liked his ponnytail (as opposed to Gwen).

I am enjoying the storyline and the wit humor of Arena Net. Still playing though the war in Kryta.
It will be interesting on how the wedding progresses.
