Rumors of a Playstation 3 version of Blueside's upcoming Kingdom Under Fire II MMORTS were confirmed at G-Star 2010 today. The game is a sequel to the Xbox-exclusive Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, and gameplay for the new title will be similar to Blueside's previous RTS efforts (albeit with a fleshed-out MMO component that includes online castle sieges and huge battles).
Players will control characters and combat from a third-person perspective and can also draw on many different unit types in order to adapt to various situations and multiplayer tactics. Blueside says that Kingdom Under Fire II "will not only inherit all the merits of the previous action RTS [games]... but will also feature an enhanced game system that will allow players to experience immense tactical game play and intense action on an unprecedented [battlefield scale]."

When I was shocked was actually the first and second time. They made a korean game for xbox and the next title for xbox360. I don't know many asian games that release only in xbox360, most either release on the asian counterpart or just both whereas the xbox360 gets more shooters. Anyway, here is an interesting article http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/113/1135481p1.html explaining the reasons on the ps3 version (the game will be released on pc also). It seems in the end ps3 is the more powerful engine (hence most console mmos are on ps3, boh the released and the announced ones) but I don't want to derail the post. I'm a pc gamer anyway.

@herlike it isnt just about the engine,it is more about microsofts policies-

Seems that blueside wants to make the console version more of a mmo which entails other fees-subs or cash shop which doesnt line up with MS which is why you probably will never see a mmo game make it to the xbox 360 until MS changes its policies
The ps3 doesnt charge you for online use where as the 360 does.

Well it's far from ps3 exclusive if their's a pc version. Which is mentioned many times in the interview. I'm not surprised about the xbox 360 part. While xbox live is considered the best console online source, Microsoft is pretty stringent about setting the rules. It's something they'll have to eventually change or be left behind as more and more mmos are released.
