US & Canada only.

Anywhere else they let you download client, install it then get a cryptic error message when you try to play.

I don't suppose the rocking back in forth in the "rooms" when you talk to NPCs makes anyone other than me totally seasick? Otherwise it's fairly entertaining.

(For some reason, my original comment got reduced to just "I"... Strange. It seems comments don't like hearts made out of less than symbols and the number 3! Silly HTML =P)

I "heart" this game. I only wish it had some more open areas for exploration, questing, and other MMO-like stuff. Then again, I'm the kind of person who wishes everything was an MMO =)

Still, I can enjoy games that aren't, and Vindictus is a very enjoyable game with a quality that is unusual of F2P games.

This game is so, so, so much fun. I echo the wishes for more variation in areas to visit and slightly less grindy progression, but the combat is so viscerally satisfying, even for this dexterity-challenged newb.

I don't care whether or not people ultimately regard this as worthy of the MMO title: I get to lay waste to the environment with gorgeous graphics, side-by-side with my husband and any other friends I choose, for FREE, and that turns out to be quite enough for me.

Any news on when this will be available for EU-players?

A lot of sites about gaming are talking about Vindictus and how fun it is but not a single one of them remeber to say in any part of the article that if you're not from USA or Canada DON'T DOWNLOAD THE GAME CAUSE IT WONT WORK...

I understand that, I mean, if you can play it, why care about the ones who can't, right? (no, I am not from USA or Canada).

Really like this game. Hey it's F2P... Combat is fun, destructible enviroments adds to that. Using the source engine allows for really nice graphics that aren't to much for even some low end comps. There is an update coming Dec 1 w/new content. Also the European version is still said to be released at the end of 2010, but more likely the begining of 2011.

Looks like the guys that made bulletstorm made this game.
Can't wait for this game to come out in Australia.

Decent game, but really it's a 3D diablo without the awesome loot or skill systems.
Content runs out fairly quickly.

I have to parrot. Everyone who is not from the US or Canada, make sure to steer clear. I had to Email Nexon Customer Support to get an official Answer, because I am in Australia, I can't play the game.

Nowhere on the official site does it mention this, nor does any site reviewing it. Bad move by Nexon, IMO.

I have a guide on my blog as to how to connect to Vindictus via proxy server, ie, play Vindictus anywhere in the world.

http://exnfrustration.blogspot.com/2010/11/guide-running-vindictus-via-proxy.html

Keep in mind that the program I use for the proxy server is only a 30 day trial, I'm looking into other ways around it.

There's a reason why it's U.S., Canada only. Any group content (i.e. dungeon running) is hosted by the party leader. So if you're playing from outside the U.S. or Canada, it's gonna be a lag fest for either you, or the rest of the group.
