I have never ragequit a game...I've "rageturnedoff" EVE a few times in the past (...gahhhhhhrghhhhhhhh!), but I always come back to the game if it has something to offer.

I've raged quit on Aion before because being I'm in a static group and there have been times when there is a lack of communication such as "Hey I can't make it tonight", etc.

A few days ago my group and I waited on one person for two hours longer that we should have and when the person finally came on they did not care at all which is when I just got up and rage quit. I wish that more people would respect each others time more.

I'm quite a bit more mature than that. Stompy children are stompy children.

Sorry that us humans with emotions are so far below you. We'll try harder in future.

Does having a pretty much permanent Dungeon Deserter debuff in wow count? The LFD is full of morons.

I've rage quit once, a PUG in GW. I was on my monk, helping a guildie through some content. Unfortunately he DC'ed going through a portal, before it was possible to reconnect, but I stayed not wanting to abandon the rest of the players.

They weren't organized at all, splitting up, drawing multiple groups, etc. That was fine, we were making steady progress. But it went downhill when they started talking smack about my DC'ed guildmate, then started to criticize my monking (healing and condition removal) for no good reason. I stuck around a bit longer but by halfway through I just left.

I /ragequit AoC and my croation based guild and haven't played it for over 2 months.

I basically was a loyal raider who 'never' messed up and my PC/bad con made me wipe us once (literally once) the RL was going mental on vent (I couldn't hear as my pc was screwed) but was sending me some pretty tasty tells (which everyone else couldn't read) and so I just left.

15 minutes later after some thinking I quit the guild (three toons) and stopped playing, I just thought I don't need this shit.

If quietly logging out and just not logging back into WoW counts, then I've rage quit. Otherwise, no, I've never done it. I've witnessed it though. :-)

We had a healer that would give us status updates very frequently. "I got one on me!" or "I'm out of mana!" or something similar. But repeatedly. We had another player who was just as obsessive, but in a quiet way. This particular event involved a cleansing totem. "Drop a totem, I need to be cleansed"..."The totem isn't cleansing me"..."I've still got the poison (or whatever it was)". He kept saying, "I hear ya XXXXX."..."I heard you XXXXX". "Dude, I've dropped it twice." "DUDE, I CAN PLAY MY CLASS, LEARN TO PLAY YOUR AND SHUT THE Fxxx UP!" It got very quiet after that. Generally speaking, that never happens in our groups. The healer disconnected. It was awhile before he logged back in with that Shaman.

It hasn't happened since. It was just that one night when everyone was kind of tweeked and our two tweekiest people had a go at each other.

I don't ragequit over things that happen in gameplay - but I would quit a game pretty quickly if the Devs introduced something I really didn't like that was going to wreck my gameplay.

I guess the only time I did something that could be called a ragequit was in my first week of EverQuest in 1999 - I started on Rallos Zek server as a troll shaman and was repeatedly killed and corpse-camped by one other player in my first hour of gameplay and didn't even make it to L3. I quit that character and tried other newbie zones and characters, where pretty much the same thing happened (I guess a guild/group of folks had decided to become a newbie welcoming committee and had all newbie areas covered), so I quit the whole server and joined a PvE server (where I spent the next 3 years of my subscription).

Not sure if it was a ragequit though - I was pretty angry at the start trying to play the troll shaman (and finding out that my L9 killer couldn't be reasoned with - admittedly I was already familiar with griefers from playing Diablo 2 on Battlenet for years), but it still took me almost an hour to give up.

Shadowbane and Darkfall are good for an occasional rage based time out for sure lol. As well as all the Battlefield games.

"WTF? I emptied a whole clip into that dude and I'M DEAD? FRAK THIS GAME!!"

Good times :)

Mount and Blade Warband makes me rage.

Imagine this:

An intense 2 minute duel. Steel flying and clanging, parries, feints and dodges all executing with grace and practiced sk.....WHOOPS! MISSED A PARRY AND NOW I'M 1-SHOTTED.

RAAHHHHHH!

Closest thing was probably Global Agenda. Now, I play Darkfall, have played L2, I don't mind meanness in PvP, in fact, that's part of the fun. But when Global Agenda's open zone came out, I asked in general if there was some secret to autorun because I saw no option in keymaps. I got a stream of hate ...again, over wanting an autorun function. 'go back to WoW' which I've never played etc.

Maybe I wasn't raged. I guess I was laughing actually as I uninstalled. It was actually worse than the Darkfall RA chat that has run off countless potential players.

Dying over and over and over again gets really upsetting (I'm lookin' at you, first 10 hours of Darkfall). I'll never rage quit in a group, but soloing can be frustrating, and the more frustrated I get the more mistakes I make. Thus, I die more and get more frustrated. And on and on and on. So I rage quit, sure. I'll calm down, have a sandwich, watch something short on Netflix, and bam! I'm back on my game.

I have left stuff like battlegrounds or instances or matches of other sorts on a variety of games out of anger before. I don't think I've grown so frustrated with a game to where I've just flat-out quit it...

Not an online one, at least xD

I usually ragequit if I'm deeply into something, then suddenly a wild crash appears!

FFFFFFF...

If it's a difficulty challenge then I'll usually try to get through it, or worst case move to a different section but a ragequit requires losing control of my machine.

Never ragequit a GAME.

Usually its more of a slowly evolving, not logging in and playing type of thing until the sub expires. But I've never been playing a game then just "RAWWWWWWRR" unsub.

Given the topic "Do you rage quit?" Sure, all the time.

I usually rage quit guilds, legions or clans. When they get one too many knuckleheads acting strange without leaders or officers toning them down... poof. I ragequit.

Then later you get the "Dude, what happened? Why'd you quit?"

Which I find funny because after you tell them, it's always "Yeah, we've had a few complaints about that guy."

Couple times you in the mail or /pm: "Okay, can you come back to our guild and heal/tank/dps for us please? We kicked that moron out of the guild now.. come on back!" Which in many cases I have.

But rage quit games.. never.

Rage quit guilds? So many notches on my mouse it's not funny.
