Glad to see the EVE Online Creative team kept the styles of the races in mind when picking the winners. Though all of the semi-finalists were beautiful designs, a number of them just didn't fit with any of the established styles.

And I love the design of the winner. I can't wait to see it in-game and perhaps fly it.

Glad to see the Tornado win, it was the one I liked the most out of the semi-finallists. As a Minmatar pilot I look forward to seeing this ship in game.

Forget the iPads, those winners should get jobs! They were fantastic!

The Tornado is a pretty darn good looking ship. Glad to see it win, but I'd kill for a Caldari ship to win.

Speaking of which, anyone else think the Naru-Kami doesn't look like a Gallente ship? Not a complaint or anything of the sort. Love the design of it, but I'd bet anything it was a Caldari ship if it wasn't stated otherwise.

I viewed the Naru-Kami as being more of a anime style ship, almost like cross between a Gallente and Caldari ship design wise.

As Unshra says, it does look like a cross between Gallente and Caldari. I don't care for it myself -- not only does it not fit with a defined aesthetic, but it's just a little too "polished" for EVE's look. It also reeks of "the safe choice" among all the contenders. Still, taken on its own, it's a pretty design.

I think if you made the metal panels darker like they are on the megathron, increased the size of the gap in between the panels and added some more detailed areas like hose on the top and back end, it would look distinctly Gallente.

Agreed with Brendan - it would look like a bigger, shinier Megathron crossed with a Hyperion.

Oddly enough, after staring at the Mega for a bit I totally see where you're coming from haha.

Yeah, I think it was the coloring that sorta gave me the 'Caldari feel'. I'm just used to seeing most Gallente ships using darker color combinations.

Awww, the Okhos didn't make it. :(
Believe it or not, I would've re-subbed for a while just to get one.

The Tornado is a worthy winner, though. It looks very... Minmatar.

I want to see some shiny ships in Eve. Some say it doesn't fit, but I think they would fit in just fine. It would add variety and spice to the universe.
