hmm...I will definitely download the trial, I'm a sucker for WW2 games, even went as far to play some WW2 mods and a WW2 game with a persistent world, I don't know why I still haven't tried it. But I can't help but ask...what was the game's subscription before the reduction? I mean.. isn't 12.99 the "standard" high for p2p?

I have been playing on and off for years. They are doing some great stuff.
The game takes a while to get good at. You will die alot, before getting the hang of things. Find a good unit to help ya out, and get on TS.

I remember the epic process of logging in when this thing first launched. Probably the worst launch in history.

Once in, there were definitely moments of awesome, watching fighter planes overhead as a truckload of infantry raced towards town. Then get killed in five seconds and do it again. Just watching people trying to take off in the planes was hilarious. This game is very hard and falls well within the sim category, not some shooter.

What was the subscription fee before if $13 is "paltry" by comparison?!

I've been playing 3 days now and I really like it. The community is probably the most helpful I've ever come across in an "MMO". I've had flying lessons and all sorts.

Definitely recommended, but yes the learning curve is pretty steep (and yes it is frustrating too!).
