Just for the record these keys dont guarantee you access to the current 'phase' of closed beta. Correct me if I am wrong, but I got accepted to closed beta and have received one or two emails telling me I was in closed beta but was not chosen to participate in the current phase.

So I suppose these are special keys?

Yeah far as I understood you HAD to have a special Invite email from the Producers of FW to get into Phase 1

So are these "Special" keys? or just regular Hey here's a beta key keys?

These are definitely special keys! These 500 keys are for guaranteed access to this phase of closed beta, so have fun!

That's awesome, but unfortunately the way Perfect World's account management beta redemption system works will not let us apply these special new keys if we've already applied with any not so special old ones.

I could just make a new account I guess, but it would be nice if entering these keys granted our existing accounts access.

Aye, having that issue as well Aru, I was one of those "In the Beta but not IN the Beta" email recipients, and as mentioned if you already used a "general key" for their beta, it blocks out every other key for the game saying you've already have a key filed for it.

Would I have to make another account to apply this key? I applied a key, a while ago, but didn't get into phase 1 and I don't think theres a way to change it :[

Yea I couldn't add this or change my key for my account so I made a new one and applied one of these keys but I think the servers might be down right now.

i didn't get one either but you see up above where ppl claimed multiple keys, it only takes a few idiots to drain keys for everyone :(

To be fair, plenty of those "idiots" as you like to put it got their original keys a long time ago most likely. This isn't the first give-away for them that Perfect World has done. I redeemed my key more than a year or so ago (was a long time ago, I know that much), yet while I'm in the beta, I'm not IN it, and have to wait.

Seeing as these are meant to allow you to get in now, I figured it wouldn't hurt to grab 1. If I had known that PWs system was so screwed up that it wouldn't accept anything, I wouldn't of bothered grabbing one.
