Yes you do; in this game. And it's not a dinner dress unless you see it as one.

Really? Let's extend that logic.

It's not a wedding dress unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.
It's not a mini-skirt unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.
It's not a ski jacket unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.
It's not a police uniform unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.
It's not a pretty pink blouse unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.
It's not a kimono unless you see it as one. Hm. Nope.

Evening gown. Tea gown. Cocktail dress. Dinner dress. Prom dress

Verry interesting. Almost like... there is an actual style for it, and there's a general consensus that dresses like that are called one particular thing.

Armor. Dress. They are different things.

Remarkable!

"You just don't wear a dinner dress or high heels into combat."
Says who?

I think it's great that you enjoy this style of fantasy, but for many of us, we simply can't take TERA seriously if many of the females are fighting in evening dresses and high heels. These prominent stylistic features brings TERA's style into the level of the ridiculous for our tastes. It's a taste thing. For you, it works. For us, it doesn't. There's nothing to argue here. It's about preference.

So, do you guys get all up in arms about the bathrobes that your average Warhammer, WoW, or Aion sorcerer wear into battle?

I guess I'm not seeing where all the angst is coming from, unless it's that TERA's version shows a bit of female thigh.

At the end of the day, none of these visuals are new or surprising, lol.

As a Castanic plate wearer it makes no sense to expose 80% of their skin. Let cloth wearers show as much as they want, they're not supposed to be getting hit or be on the frontlines.

Sure they look good, but it doesn't stop it from being friggin stupid.
