I would like to come back and try the game again. I was a launch baby with this one. It still interests me a good bit. But I was thinking of this game just last night in fact. And remembering how my character kept saying the same thing over and over and over in combat it hurt my brain after a while. I thought it was a gorgeous game but I was ruined by the gold selling spam. That and the aion apologist (see look at that I can take a stab at fans of a game also Lorem) Saying well jsut ignore the spammers but my list full of blocked names and I did not want to play anymore. I know things have changed they have had to of. I just don't think I will come back to this game. Oh and people that don't like your game just may not like WOW also go figure huh. I like tons of games out there WOW EQ2 and reading about EVE (that game is a hoot to read about), Don't be an asshat and leave a no substinace post right off the bat it was not clever nor was it even remotely funny.

@shoan: Yea I absolutely know what you mean, some asinine Asian convention that you have to keep hearing those vocalizations. They were contrived and cheesy with my toon constantly blurting "ka-her-give!" and "he-jevem-pek!". Just laughable and couldn't take the game seriously.

A couple of things; first off I just recently went back to the game. I have 4 mos of playtime with the game spanning over the release life, and some beta.

- The game is still beautiful, the detail on the characters and armor is unmatched imo.

- My server, Nezekan, is absolutely dead. It appears that a lot of people have xferred off, making it tough to find a group for Fire Temple, or anything group-related/quests at my level (30'ish).

- The gold spamming seems to be all but eliminated, I was getting private tells but after I went /anon, that stopped too.

I played WoW for almost 6 years, but I think Aion has a place in the MMO world too. I am an MMO fan, not a biased WoW fan.

Aion is one of the games, like LotRO, that I really, really want to like. On paper, in videos and in screenshots I absolutely love the game - but when I enter the world things seem a little flat, tough to describe. But in spite of the still grindy feel, mobs sitting around waiting to be killed, only to spawn back seconds later, I just re-upped my Aion sub for another month. Nyerk.

These videos make me want to give the game a second chance. I wonder if they have made the two factions equal now; i heard Eylos were way easier to level.

Hey I own shares in Blizzard but I still hate WoW.
Keep us innocent investors out of your disputes.

Played Aion 4 month at launch, then quit, came back 2 more times... but still to many things broken. Could have been a great game but too many things to get u upset about...

The horrible, repetitive screeching (it was really bad as an assassin) has been toned way down. Much better now. This game is coming together and getting it's stride I think. I've been having a lot of fun with it.
