I think "Servant of Process" is one of my favorite titles for humor value. And you can't beat "A Light from the Darkness" or "Lord of the Silver Chain" for looking awesome.

My favorite, the one I've used since I unlocked it, is "Master of Forgotten Lore." Partly because my character who has it is a Lore-master, partly because it's no longer available.

I'm fond of "Shire Brewmaster" for its charm, "Heroine of the Lost" for its epic sound, "Endurer of Long Winters" because I used to live in Edmonton, and "Lady of Streams" because it required dedication to get.

A companion title to "Blind Leaper" in Moria is the one you get when you jump into the well in the Chamber of the Crossroads in Durin's Way. You end up all the way down in the Waterworks. After this harrowing leap, you get the title "Well Travelled".

But my personal favorite was only available for about 24 hours during an April Fool's event back in 2009. You were able to pick up a quest that transported you to the Ettenmoors (the Monster Play PvP area) where you had to try to run all the way across the zone to safety at the free Peoples camp ... as a chicken! Absolutely the best, most hilarious event I've ever been apart of! But it was so popular that it ended up causing server problems and Turbine ended up pulling it. They haven't brought it back and it seems they won't be anytime soon, if ever.

I am one of the few but proud characters on Landroval who can display the best title ever, "Fool"!

I happen to be very fond of "The Naughty," "The Beloved," and "The Befuddling," which are earned through the secret emote deeds.

There are also a couple of titles that can only be earned by participating in a live event with a GM. "Fathomer of Riddles" is a reward for correctly answering riddles in the Riddle-master event that happens only once a year around Bilbo & Frodo's birthday. Participating in the Fashion Maven event (also rare) can earn you "The Fashionable," "The Unfashionable," or one of my favorite titles in the whole game (this one is incredibly rare actually): "The Eyesore." :)

I may have to try for "Fathomer of Riddles" next year. Although with my current title being "The Unwise" I don't know how much of a shot I'll have. :)

Oh, and I am also a fan of "Bringer of Light". Even though it does not come directly from puzzling out the mirrors in Lumul-nar, my minstrel wears the title to remember that moment.

Is it just me, or does this game suffer horribly from bad art? I mean, the landscapes are pretty (kinda generic, but pretty nonetheless) but the character models. Not since Second Life have I felt this repulsed.

Mind you, I'm an artist, so I'm pickier than the average bear, but lordy.

My relationship with titles in LOTRO is now in its third phase:

When I first started playing the game I treasured each title and proudly sported my latest acquisition.

As the number of titles I earned ramped up however I got disillusioned. I began to feel that the ridiculous number of titles in the game devalued the whole point of having a title. I stopped sporting a title altogether.

More recently my view has mellowed. I have come to seen titles as a fun embellishment to the game. I will browse through the many titles I have earned by now and pick one that suits my mood and wear it for a day or so. I will just as happily wear a humorous title as an epic one.

Glad to see "Lucky Duck" in the list, that's the only title my character has had for any length of time and the only one he's likely to have for a while.

I even gifted him a surname when I got the title. I think that "Badroc Quack, Lucky Duck" sounds pretty good. :)

no nominations for "Executioner of the Wicked"?

Not only is it an epic sounding title, its pretty damn hard to get.

I've been "Pie-eating Champion" ever since that first festival. And I'm a heavily-armoured Dwarf, so I look the part too. :D

w00t! Awesome to see my little warden Isoldeth here! The Undying title wasn't hard to get on her...I just didn't take any risks. I also have it on minstrel and captain which I found more challenging. Any other Undying titles I've lost have been down to stupid mistakes and not difficult gameplay.

I'm a big fan of a lot of the emote ones. I have toons sporting 'The Alluring' or 'The Infuriating'. I also got my main 'Executioner of the Wicked' last night, which I find pretty cool. I'd also love to get some Barrow Cheese for 'The Unwise'. Dark Delvings 'The Brilliant' is another favourite.
