That serene music was a poor choice for the sorcerer's combat vid.

The combat system sounds very interesting and I am always down for new and innovative things in MMOs. But, man, I just really can't get into the Eastern style which is further damaged by the prevalent females fighting in dinner dresses. Even so, I salute their efforts at the new combat system and hope it does well. We need more thinking outside the box instead of replicating ye old cookie cutter.

Monster AI Sucks and also Aggro Radio Does.

They are just a steps from them casting 10 second spell or putting traps...

Kinda dissapointing :/

The Chronicles of Spellborn had a great active combat system as well. I'm hoping more games start incorporating better combat systems than the usual run of the mill MMORPG. Might have to try this out just because of the combat system.

I'm hoping that Spellborn can be brought back. There is still some hope for that with companies still talking.

Underwhelming videos game play wise. Non-stop kiting from all the ranged classes and no CC? Some of the melees have seemed more entertaining in the past however. And the graphics are awesome..

The dealbreaker for me would be a standard asian grind.

I agree. I'd like to see some videos showing more interesting skills and tactics.
A grinder would officially kill my anticipation level as well.

On the bright side, it seems the foundations for combat and movement are pretty sound, so they can always add those things in. Maybe they just need some more time to work on the skills and abilities?

/cry... just read the game faq to see it is being westernized... I don't know why I thought it was being developed "westernized" from the get-go. Well this game is officially off my hype-radar. Hope they prove me wrong but... back to GW2.

The game looks great. The animations are excellent.
The character models are fantastic.
The environments are beautiful and so is the music =)
Combat seems fun, and pvp or instanced/group content looks exciting and shows promise.

But...
Some sound effects seem to be missing/inaudible. Demo stuff maybe?
Mob reactions seemed a tiny bit off to me. Anyone else feel the same?

Whatever the case, this game is still one that I'm looking forward. Awesome stuff =)

Also, forgot to mention, that the User Interface is a bit strange for me, and I'm not sure I'm sold on the way it's laid out and the overall look.

The videos were very pretty. It was good to see a bow user that doesn't have a pet since I never liked the idea of a pet class.

Gotta say they wasted some of that sorceror gameplay video on getting stunned and hit.

I agree. I'm sick of games selling me with character models. Really if I wanted to see beautiful women, why would I play your game and not just go outside? *sigh* Half naked women is not something people get excited about anymore Frogster. Shame, looks like they could have made a descent MMO.

Some men will buy anything with bouncy bewbs in it.

This game is gonna sell millions on that premise alone...

...mark my words.

I'm glad you won't be playing the game. It would really be a drag to have a bunch of hypersensitive dips populating the servers of a game they despise, and having to hear all the whining that would ensue because of it. People who are afraid of intricate and appealing character models have a wide variety of lackluster graphics to choose from, from the ever-popular 8-polygon count WoW models to Age of Conan's four super-unique human races, to Warhammer Online's 3 total appealing faces across all races and classes.

The game looks great, the gameplay looks compelling and smooth, and I am excited to play this game. I can't imagine what my life would be like if I were so easily offended by everything in the world, as so many self-righteous and complacent ignoramuses sadly are. Everything isn't for everyone, but I hardly see the point in complaining about something you have zero interest in, especially when it doesn't effect you in the least, in this case because you are not a potential customer, and because the game factually impinges on the rights of no one at all. Your number one right remains in tact: The right not to play the game - which again is something I am grateful for.
