Adventuring, if you ever make it to the mainland then being able to write about your adventures in the numerous awesome dungeons within the game will definitely make better reading than anything else.

Well, I'm almost at L8 in adventuring, and I understand the Isle only goes to one point shy of L11. If that's the way the vote goes, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get off the island and started on the mainland this week.

Unless those adventuring quests are about to start breeding like rabbits too, mind. hehe.

If you do get off the island and you make it to the high teens - twenties, you should check out the Tomb of Lord Tsang. Coolest dungeon ever.

I could never find a group for Lord Tsang, always wanted to run that dungeon tho. I its because there was a significant quest chain to get keyed for it?

Just make sure you complete all that you can here. There's some bonus to the stuffs in the ISLE that you won't get in Mainland. When I played it. I finished, Crafting, Diplomacy and Adventures all together. Worth my time. Harvesting can be done anywhere, So don't worry about that one.

You've got to harvest a few giant trees, but other than that, yeah. Diplomacy and Crafting, not Harvesting.

Diplomacy, since it's a feature unique to Vanguard.

Why do you keep talkin' about Vanguard?
THIS is the game from SOE who had to be a f2p.

I'm playing Vanguard because it's what the voters chose when we started this series of Choose My Adventure.

I chose adventuring because I would really love for you to get to the 20s to truly see if you come across the solo leveling issues I found at those levels and that you can write about so that SOE can possibly for once maybe turn an eye towards that glaring issue with the game and the only reason I myself don't play anymore. Wow, that was a run on sentence. Sorry about that.

Crafting and diplomacy are such niche activities. Seems only logical to focus on the adventuring aspect, as this would appeal to a much larger number of readers.

I suggest diplomacy...but again, with the caveat that you try it in your racial home city, and not just the Isle of Dawn. The world lore is where the game really starts to shine!

@Bryan: The actual roadblock (no quests to be found) is at level 25 and it is not really a roadblock since devs intended for us to start the Unicorn/hellhound mount quest(s). There is alot of grinding involved so the quests will easily take you into your 30's which opens up 3 or 4 new zones to quest in.

@Kystalle: I agree that you should finish crafting and diplomancy before finishing adventure. Diplomancy is really a luck of the draw, so it can be frustrating at times though.

Focus on adventuring! The game has so many different zones and dungeons.

I got into the mid 20's twice and dropped it because it wasn't fun soloing everything :(

Make this F2P and I would definatley go back.
