Well atleast he's getting out and going to another company...so that when whats left of their community goes nuts at the next patch the new people can feel the burn.

Allods = dead to me...may that game burn in hell for luring me in and then punching me in the face with ridiculous changes.

I played Allods for a while and I never spent a cent actually. It's a gorgeous game for a F2P, I just had to leave it when I went back to some subscription-based MMOs.

I had a bit of interaction through emails with Darren Allarde and he seemed like a really stand-up guy trying to do his best with what the company decided to do with Allods.

I wish him all the best.

Every communication, either written or verbal, that I've ever heard or read from Darren Allarde sounds like he's a sociopath.

I have no idea how much they were paying him to continue to support the absolute fail whale that Allods will be until they pull the plug, but evidently it wasn't enough.

Good bye Mr Allarde, and may your departure hasten the demise of the putrid pile of poo that Allods has become. Hopefully, if there is any justice in this universe, those responsible for taking a potential AAA title and turning it into utter dung will be punished.

Such a shame. I went back to Allods briefly; it's still a great game, but the cash shop and the population are terrible.

And, of course, gaming journalism is quite happy to make sure these issues are never brought up or questioned.

I just wanted to warn everyone again, do not touch this game.

DO. NOT. TOUCH. THIS. GAME.

You will be sorely disappointed, the graphics and concept are fantastic, but the company wont find other ways of making revenue except in the most annoying way possible.

If you dont believe me go read about patch 1.1

I wouldn't have been more surprised if people were fired for the lies that were presented and the mitigation that was blown during the interviews even here on massively....

I hope Mr. Allarde learns that Lieing to his customers by deciet and deception and misleading false advertisement will just destroy any respect a gaming community has to stand behind and back a publisher of a great game..

I pray to all that is gaming wonderland that the same business tactics don't follow the fleeing ones.

Ms. Sadie another GM of ALlods left not to long ago as well.... Does this not indicate how HORRIBLY they had ruined or allowed Allods to be ruined.

When I realized that Mr. Allarde ONLY cared about opinions of Paying customers and didn't even reply to customers who were just "Open Beta" testing the game as a FREE to play game, I knew then it was going to end in ruin and here we are a great game sinking the the abyss of gaming hell...

GOOD WORK!!!! looks great on the resume I'm sure.
