It was only a CGI but it is good to see someone finally get into the horror genre instead of the fantasy theme once again for the 100th time.

Brujah! Give me Celerity, Potence, and Presence. I am rather pleased this game is to be set in old school WoD.

Exciting! CCP seems to have some clever people with a sandboxy approach to MMOs. Should be interesting to follow this game.

Will you be able to kill vampires in this game?

I'm totally hyped about this, but if they think that the EVE model is going to be good for marketing to the hundreds of thousands of carebears who will buy this on launch day, they are wrong.

I'm hoping that, similar to the actual roleplaying game, that actual PvP combat is rare and most of the player conflict will come from interaction and politics.

Not everyone wants to spend all day facebooking in 3D.

I have a built in metagame here, too - murdering every Malkavian that says "WooOoOoOoo i'M sO CrAzYYyYyYyY!1!!"

I can't wait.

Now begin the speculation on what city it's set in. And whether Sabbat will be playable. I'd roll a Panders in a second.

See, I was raised by the WoD in the early-to-mid 90s, but I was never a Vamp fan. Give me my playable Garou and I'll be a happy Black Fury.

The possibility of being able to play a wily Ravnos has made me more interested in this game but until I see solid gameplay details, demos and probably a hand son experience I'm not gonna make any decsions on how good this game is.

Stunned by the passion in these comments.

I am not at all familiar with this gameworld (or any Vampire lore other than the old movies) and am delighted to see such a wide variety of "vampire lovers" chiming in.

I hope CCP can live up to all of your expectations.

Hope so too, Pingles! Vampire: The Masquerade is a very rich setting in detail and depth, wiki it and have a see, you might see why a lot of folk are going crazy over it.

I'm not too familiar with the WoD series either, though I love vampire movies and lore.

My first, and so far only, experience of the WoD series was with the game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines (forgive me if the title is wrong). Unfortunately, Troika folded during development, and the game was never properly finished.

Fans of the game have actually gone on to patch the game up, and try to bring it closer to its full glory, which says a lot about the fanbase and their passion for this series, I think.

VTM:B is excellent btw, despite its flaws.

Facbooking in 3D isn't WoD. If it doesn't have combat, crafting, hacking, and the multitude of other skills that all flow along WITH social interaction and politicking this is going to be the grandest waste of a company merger.

Good news: Possibly sandbox MMO with vampires and possibly not a cheesy backstory with white wolf hopefully having a hand in it.

Bad news: 2012
