While most of the MMORPG fans at PAX are focused on headline-hogs like Guild Wars 2 and The Old Republic, EVE Online is making its share of noise, first with a new expansion announcement followed by the unveiling of a new game trailer titled Causality. CCP Games has also revealed a new contest called the Universal Glory Sweepstakes. Despite stiff genre competition, the Icelandic development firm shows no signs of slowing down development on its landmark space sandbox, and players now have the opportunity to win computer hardware and EVE merchandise including a complete gaming system and a year's subscription to the game.
The contest runs through October 3rd, and the entry form requires you to answer a couple of questions posed about the new Causality trailer. Check it out after the cut or at the official contest website.

Depends really.
The really big alliances are kinda jumpy when it comes to the executor corp "disband"-button access, but smaller alliances are always happy to let initially helpful people join and rob them blind.
Look at Ushra'Khan - oldest alliance in game, over six years of history together. Got taken over because one guy (the executor corp CEO) couldn't be arsed to take care of the couple of extra shares floating in his executor corp wallet. He goes on a business trip and - blam - 24h later, he's not in control of his corp, or the alliance anymore.
It sucks when it's due to one guys incompetence like that, but that's also partly why EVE is so great - there's no better way to grief 2000 people in one go!

So the hypothetical person in this trailer gets blown up, costing him a few days of work. To get revenge, he spends months or years scheming, deceiving his friends, and savoring his bitter anger so that he can finally stab them all in the back.
Why would I want to be that kind of person?
