There has been no shortage of player interest in Vindictus, the upcoming action-MMO from Nexon. And it's not hard to see why -- the game been pushing forward some interesting mechanics, on top of beautiful graphics and high-energy gameplay. The first closed beta recently came to a conclusion, but there's good news for hopefuls, as the game is starting the newest round of open beta testing on September 15th.
Although the official line is that the beta is open, the development team seems to be using the term in the sense that the game isn't closed off behind an NDA. That being said, all testers from the first round of the Vindictus beta will be granted two codes to offer any friends interested in playing, and Nexon plans to distribute codes to more outlets. With the next wave of testing just under two weeks away, players should keep their eyes open -- and maybe make a few friends with former testers.

In sarcastic fairness I don't think any continent was "created" anywhere near 234 years ago. I would also have to note that the planets medium of choice for continents is seldom plastic. Your best bet is that recycled plastic island .... but I don't think that ever managed to get off the drawing board.

This is pure bs they pulled the 1st round of testers from a hat, how i know is a friend had 2 nexon accounts 1- 3 year old 1- 2 months old his 2 month old account got picked his 3 year old acc did not, so now instead of inviting the rest of those that have been playing their games(I have had a nexon account for 1and1/2 years didnt get lucky) they are giving the 1st wave 2 keys making it possible for those that never even had a nexon account to get in!!! I have always made an attempt at defending nexon in forums I see people flame them on but no more screw them just 1 more notch down in my book seeing that they also changed Combat Arms and this new ui/look ruined the game for me.
Well I can only hope that Continent of the Ninth comes west(ive heard rumors of IJJI publishing it) it looks better than Vindictus imo anyways.

Well that doesnt seem to be likely as the example i mentioned was the same person with 2 accounts so the pc set-up and part of country would be the same. But what they are doing now is even lamer giving 2 keys to those that got lucky to give to their friends instead of just reinviting the original testers and opening the doors for those that didnt get lucky enough to be chosen for the 1st round but are active players of their games.Kind of seems like a slap in the face to me.

They ARE reinviting the previous testers for Vindictus. I was one of those testers and have the confirmation email for the next wave of testing. Also, Alucard, getting a beta invite isn't necessarily a reward system. They never stated that they would do such a thing, and to assume so because you play their other games in absurd. The only way it could be fair to generate hype is to keep it random. True, they did give keys away via their facebook too, but that's their discretion. You just sound like your feelings are hurt. I've been playing WoW since launch day, but I don't cry when people who just got into the game in Wrath got picked for the Cata beta over me. It is what it is...

@RedDeadDawn I never said nor implied that previous testers were not being reinvited.I dont have a problem with others getting picked(however randomly) before me that are currently a part of Nexons gaming community even though it is kind of lame. What I have a problem with is those that are not having that opportunity opened to them before those that are.
And seeing that you brought up WoW,I played it for 5 years I know how they pick their testers, they are picked from people that are part of Blizzards gaming community those that subscribe to their game.
As far as a "reward system" as you put it it is being treated as one in totally the wrong way.You got lucky and now you are getting rewarded for being lucky.

I was fairly certain that the first closed beta didn't have an NDA either. It even had the built-in video capture function. That was still called closed beta.
