TERA screens showcase the city of Kaiator

Another week, another set of TERA screens to whet our appetites for En Masse Entertainment's forthcoming action MMORPG. The Screenshots of the Week featurette turns sweet sixteen today, and while the shots are devoid of the eternally conversational skimpy armor, they nonetheless bear examining.

This week's subject is the iron city of Kaiator, located in northern Shara and home to the honorable and ferocious Aman. Kaiator, like its builders, is all but impregnable, and a forthcoming lore update on the official TERA website will fill in even more details about the city known as the Unbreakable Iron Jewel.

I am always blown away how the Koreans are able to get the UT III UDK tools to render distances that far away from the avatar. I guess they get to rewrite the engine.

I was wondering the same thing, and have been for a long time.

The Koreans really do know how to get every last drop from their resources.

No doubt- I even purchased a KIA Soul for the 100k mile warranty. Everyone talks about "India and China Rising". I call BS on that. It is the S. Koreans!

Just goes to show how versitle the Unreal 3 engine is, always disappointed me that the best Epic could do with it is an average 3rd person shooter.

great googily moogily...the city alone makes me want to roll an aman. tho i'll probably go castanic, like 99% of the other male gamers anticipating tera.
