I love the comments here. They made me laugh more than the actual article.

In all seriousness, though... I'm a raving atheist. However, I am strangely glad that this game exists. Everyone ought to have a game to play. Even the kind of person who would play a game like this.

I am enjoying the comments too. If hell does exist, we're all going there.

LFM for Burn The Heretics!

WTB [Bloodied Sword of the Crusades] 15000 G

So much you could do with a game based on the Bible, from slaughtering the innocent to... well, burning the innocent alive. It would probably have a Mature rating except for the likelihood that this will be a stripped-down version including no actual Christian history, and only biblical storytelling.

Still, I'm curious to see how you're supposed to outrun the floods and all of the other incarnations of Divine Wrath from he who loves his children and preaches forgiveness as the Christian way - When not smiting people who disagree with his policies, that is.

Wonder if it'll be a platformer on the flood stage?

Well the flood is like what happens in the Lich King fight when you hit 10% - you die but King Terenas resses you.

I imagine the patch notes.

Patch 1.0 - Solomon has 40,000 stalls (See 1KI 4:26)

Patch 1.1 - Solomon now has 4,000 stalls (See 2CH 9:25)

Patch 1.2 - Solomon now has 40,000 stalls again.

Patch 2.0 - Solomon is now outdated, has 4,000 again.

If you're a crafter looking to sell your wares, stay clear of provisioning. Not a lot of demand for food, just five loaves and a couple of fish now and again.

Now, if the Monty Python team had produced this game I'd subscribe like a shot!

"The Bible Online: Heroes is new browser based MMORPG with the turn-battle symstem of RTS"

Oi vey, sounds like it was translated from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English with a bunch of spelling mistakes, mistranslations, and misinterpretations thrown in for good measure.

Hey I think this isn't such a bad thing.

Not that I agree with any type of organised religion but if The Bible Online is correct towards the scripture it might be one of those games that they are allowed to play?

Since magic and such is concidered taboo/blasphemy this might be a game for the bible people? Can't really call them catholics and christians these days..

And I do say this with a positive intent.

Just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean that they cannot play games involving magic or violence...

And you think I don't know that?

I was speaking for the extreme believers.
As for them it is quite taboo. Since magic is an art of the devil.

Don't assume you are talking to a clueless person.

Are the Anunnaki and ancient Sumer going to be in this game?

I very much doubt it since they are not mentioned in the bible.
And there is no real indication that the "Jedi" or "Nephilim" are actually the annunaki.

So there is as far as I know no place for them in this game.

Love all these comments and how Massively just allows so many rude and offense things to be said about Christianity. If most of the things here were said about another game your comment would be grayed out or some mod would delete it. Many thanks to the few people here who kept their comments civil. I'm sure there are some Christians who visit this site, so for myself and others we thank you.

I never push my religion on others, however I also feel as if non believers should refrain from pushing their non belief on others as well.

Funny thing is by posting this on Massively and even by making rude comments about it you ARE doing Gods work. Fact is if nothing had ever been posted (good or bad) no one would have read about God on this site.
