Sooo... instead of going after the audience that watches the show... they are going after the audience that doesn't watch it...?

They'd have better luck advertising an Avatar: The Last Airbender MMO on Lifetime...

Despite Hero 108's kiddy exterior, it actually looks like a pretty fun game. I watched a 10 minute or so gameplay video of it and I plan on trying it out someday. It plays like Dragonica and Ghost X. The character customization is not very good, but the gameplay looks solid.

Just like yourself, the kiddy exterior turned me away from this game at first, but I gave it a shot anyway. I gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with it. It's pretty polished for a cartoon-tie-in free-to-play kids' mmo.

Also like you said, there's very limited customization, but that should change with the upcoming cash shop, which somewhat worries me because I hope there won't be too many game-braking items to buy.

A bit off-topic, but more games should follow the f2p model of League of Legends. People who don't pay a single dime for the game have absolutely zero disadvantage to those who choose to give Riot, the developers, their money. The items you can buy from their cash shop are exp and ip boosts (basically you level faster), champion skins, and the actual champions, which can also be fairly easily earned by just playing the game. Kudos Riot.
