I think the only definition of interesting that even comes close to working is "Oh God, oh God, were're all going to die".

P.S. Anybody that doesn't get that reference should be ashamed of themselves.

Please don't label up a link to Playboy.com as 'Poisonville'. I think I broke my record for closing a page! Thanks.

After the global fail "gta pseudo massive" like CrimeCraft, APB and maybe others were, i'm happy to see more studios working on such concept.
I can just hope one will soon release a better than poor gtammo game.

Obviously this will be the greatest game ever for men in that age range *cough*

That and the teenagers who are allowed to play stuff like GTA will probably try to get on it.

Ahh, you know when Playboy starts getting into the MMO genre that there's going to be some pushes to the rating system. I think this'll be an interesting experiment. I mean, they've been trying to sell us on sex and violence in these games for how long now? They appear to just be cutting out the extra details and are shooting directly for those two things.

I figure I'll try it when it comes around for the simple curiosity of whether they can actually make it fun.

"... hardened criminals, fast cars, and beautiful women ..."

Didn't Age of Conan already try this?

I think they used fast mastodons instead of fast cars, but still...

Beautiful women who are hardened criminals driving fast cars would of likely been a better selling point, IMO...

...besides right now, the game company will have compete with Tera, with APB recent implosion hanging over their heads. I doubt this game will do well. And the old perv in the pajamas maybe a little behind on the times with this one. Just saying...

""Launching this new game through Playboy.com will allow us to directly tap into our ideal gaming audience – avid, online men between the ages of 18-35."

What is an 'avid' online man? Did they mean erect?

"We look forward to engaging gamers in new and exciting ways through Playboy's network of high-traffic websites."

Coffee came out my nose. Are they saying there will be peripherals?

I had to also laugh at that marketing department speak.

"our ideal gaming audience – avid, online men between the ages of 18-35"

The first definition I saw in the dictionary is: "ardently or excessively desirous" another definition being given is "enthusiastic; passionate; longing eagerly; eager; greedy" I'm going to define it as "Horny and naked sitting at the keyboard"

I found it funny that one of the featured articles at the top of the page is entitled "GW2 Necromancer Fully Revealed". Seemed to go along well with "Playboy."

But all joking aside, I despise pornography and everyone associated with it and Playboy being involved with an MMO simply guarantees that I will never play the game even if it is the best game in the entire world. I'm sure that I'll be in a distinct minority with that feeling on the subject but it'll hardly be the first time. I've never let my morals be dictated by what is popular and I'm not about to start now.
