yeah thats what i would have put money on

for 3 reason's really

A) GW doesn't have a rogue type class so the assassin takes care of that

B)The spirits for the ritualist could be used more in an expac story(ie that one of the dragons has caused massive unrest with the spirit realm)

C) to me the dervish while looking cool is imo the worst class & as i said the paragon i reckon will be rolled into other classes

on another note that boss is rather impressive on scale and physics surrounding the whirlwind around it

since normally that sort of stuff is steered away from since it causes lag

Yea I'm piqued about GW2. I wasn;t a fan of Lineage or GW back in the day, but I really like how GW2 looks and its F2P.

I look forward to checking the game out more but that video was rather dull and unimpressive to me, the boss was decent though.

So far GW 2 didnt look any different from current MMOS and for the things they are boasting about it being next gen and whatnot, im not impressed.

I loved GW1 and played it loads but people gotta jump off that hype train and maybe judge a bit more objectively, reading some comments many are easily taken by big dragons and fancy graphics.

Currently, based on given information, GW 2 seems to be a toned down action mmo made for the masses ( removal of healing class, action oriented content with quick gratification, simplification of mechanics, everyone can rezz etc.).
So instead of now having to wait for one healer class to show up, we gotta wait for several classes since the monk spells where divided into different professions (necro seems to get some shield spells).

The fact that some people argue that GW is cheaper than other mmos is most amusing though. Its gonna run the same way it did with GW 1 and that did release expensive expansions ( much more than sub based mmo exps) in a relative short timeframe, in the end you ended up paying almost same amounts as you would have with a sub.

Right now, GW 2 reminds me too much of Left 4 dead.

While too much hype is bad, assuming everything will go to hell based on equally little information isn't exactly useful either.
-ANet has stated that some classes will better at 'support' than others. Elementalist is one, when speced to Water; given how the Blood line worked in GW1, Necromancer will probably be another.
-The idea, insofar as they have explained it, is that while everyone will at least be partially responsible for their own healing, there will also be MORE THAN ONE class that can competently spec to support, to back them up. This makes it easier to build a group that can tackle hard content than if there is just one class that does support well.
-Everyone could ALREADY rez in GW1. It was a common signet. This is not a change.
-Regarding the 'action oriented content' allegation... is there an MMO that ISN'T 'action oriented?' GW2 still has sticky targeting; just look at the videos. It isn't a twitch game. In fact, they have stated that they've made timing more forgiving than it was in GW1, so the windows for interrupts and counters won't be fractions of a second.
-This might play into the 'made for the masses' allegation; they are trying to make PVP less of an 'E-Sport,' so more can participate and feel like they are accomplishing something in the 'Mists' PVP zones. Verdict on this one depends entirely on what you want out of the game.

Still think we need a gore option to toggle on and off.
