A xp, influence and renown bonus of up to 400% for the side that's outnumbered by 20% or more? Sounds good, hope it'll get people to continue the good fight. Though from my experience, the outnumbered side often get zerged and then either flee to another zone or disband.

Sometimes there are big stand-off fights in T4. Those are fun, but few.

I always wondered why they didn't make 3 factions. It seems that the triangle element can help break up the zerg. It is hard to zerg when being flanked by two forces.

Does anyone know if the renown, XP and influence gets added AFTER someone kills an enemy? The reason I ask is because, if we are outnumbered...how are we suppose to kill someone?

It gets added as soon as the necessary numbers are in the zone. I believe the minimum required players must be 6 from each side for the AOA to kick in. After that, the modifier is automatically updated as the population in the zone increases or decreases for each side.

Very much like the current Field of Glory buff.

Also,
@Jade -
On the server I play on (Iron Rock), there are epic battles to be found all day long, any time of the day, day or night. Often, both sides are fielding at least two warbands or more.

Just because you're outnumbered doesn't mean you can't kill someone. The bonus is for the entire zone. If you're tactical, you can find ways to hit the enemy when they're disorganized/split up and kill some off, making it very worthwhile in terms of xp/renown/inf. It also kicks on when taking Objectives, which can be done with small groups when the 'zerg' is occupied elsewhere.

@Brian! - It doesn't take multiple factions to flank a 'zerg', just people working together.

The answer is skirmish...Zergs main priority is taking battle objectives...I have enver understood why people take on zergs head on...I always go and find skirmish away from the zerg...this 400% will be great fo skirmish during an outnumbered state...Loving it!

Mythic dropping half tested and major buggy versions on to live servers is nothing new. Few months back my Choosen had his auras broken for 2 whole weeks - White lions saw their pet "flying" alongside them and an entire scenario froze if some dared to drop the flag in the middle zone. Actually... it took them over 3 weeks to fix that one in Europe.
