Wow... a other low point for Aion. I do not care for none-combat pets in mmos and this is likely like I own pets in real life!

No matter where you post or what you post on you never cease to be a complete tool as usual Jack.

For those of you that might be interested, there is a video on youtube about these guys.

Sure, Ivasen. People can be interested, we're just saying that a pet has little use in Aion's current state.

Read over his post again, inazagi86.

He cited it as a low point simply because he does not like non-combat pets, that is why he got down voted.

Aion is definitely not a easy game for many, there is not a lot of instant gratification which most people need these days.

There are things that I cannot stand.
There is a heavy grind and it is absurd that you have to grind monsters for hours to level.

The crafting system is totally RNG based to the point that it is not economically feasible to do simply for enjoyment.

There is a total lack of long term endgame PVE content to do in between PVP and fort raiding.

I like the game, but not enough to maintain a subcription from month to month.

While this may not be a game you enjoy, be happy that others do and don't lower yourself to that of a child because you are bitter.

I really don't think Aion can get any lower after releasing that video showing some amazing stuff only for them to say a week later that they don't plan to do any of it.

Tricking people to buy your game with trailers of stuff that they never planned on making should illegal.

Would be badit were true.
Too bad they NEVER said they do "not" plan anything of the Vision Trailer and even random out of context quotes never really supported that myth some hater tried to establish and neither did they break any promise on that trailer or anything and your are just making up stuff to have a point to complain about.

It amazes me that everytime NCSoft cleans up the mess, they piss down their leg again. I just dont think they get it. We are not Korean, we dont enjoy grinding for 12 hours to level up. This game had so much potential. I loved it until level 20. 20-30 wasnt bad and 30+ was terrible. Crafting is expensive and broken, leveling and xp rates are broken. The lack of end game content makes me sick. I will come back and try out 2.0. I tried out 1.9. 1.9 was an epic failure and a desperate attempt to fix the game, 6 months after its release. Most of the pop on my server had fled for greenier pastures by then.

I have not played this game for awhile but my co-workers say that 2.0 still has no major end game.

I guess all you can do is really try it when it comes out.

I like the Skullabra Krall, and how pets actually have some usefulness. I guess the ones that come from these offers are only companions though.

I'm really digging the panda, but I can't stomach Aion.

Sorry, NCSoft. I look forward to Blade & Soul though. Perhaps, by the time Blade & Soul is released, NCWest will finally figure out how to communicate to its Korean head-office and have some autonomy in bringing about meaningful change to make the game appeal more to Western players.

I'll wait a few weeks for 2.0 but everything is telling me that this game is done for me.I'm going back to FPS games until GW2 and Reckoning are released.

Try out Ruines of Magic. A very well polished F2P game.

Thanks for the article MJ! Clears up some of the info that had been guesswork from the Korean version.

I just hope NCWest doesn't screw this up like they have other things (the game, black and white dyes, event items that are bound to a single character, lack of event items and events). I expect they'll probably do something stupid and make the exclusive pets high priced cash shop items.

Darn, I wouldn't mind having a Skullabra Krall, but I'm not going to pay extra real money for one, considering the outright lies told by NCWest and the broken parts of the game.

Still, I have about 1 million kinah I'm not using at the moment, so time to get grinding so I can afford pets for all my characters.

I recommed saving the Kinah just for your main and not buying the basic pets for all your chars first, but only the most expensive pack animals until you hit 55 because in 2.0 a major character stat for progress is "cubeslots" for all the loot including your relics, which now drop outdoors from monster and chests in highlevel zones.

Good suggestion Lorem, it might be a good idea to hold off buying pets until I've had a chance to find out exactly which ones will be available for in game kinah, what they do, etc.

I will pass along any and all pet information as I get it. I too am interested in learning all the types available and what their corresponding functions are.

I thought a number of these looked fun. Of course, I am going to try and get as many pack animals as allowed!

Pets won't matter if NCS can't fix the underlying issues that are killing the game. Plus each pet will probably be 19978473874485454 kinah.
