BioWare Mythic has given us a heads-up regarding the latest update to its venerable Dark Age of Camelot MMORPG. The PvP-centric fantasy title has gone live with version 1.105, and the patch brings with it quite a number of changes, including the long-awaited training-window UI enhancements.
The training-window tweaks feature the ability to train multiple specialization levels and Realm abilities simultaneously, as Stuart Zissu details in this producer's letter. The new patch also boasts buff display adjustments, numerous class-balancing changes focusing on the bainshee, and itemization revamps of world dungeons including the Catacombs of Cardova, Varulvhamn, and Treibh Caillte.
Finally, Albion, Midgard, and Hibernian epic armors have had their attributes bumped upwards and also feature additional skills. Check out the patch notes at the the Camelot Herald.

If it's not Origins, I'm not interested. Makes me sad that they've basically given up on that project.

Haha, they are still trying to balance the bainshee? Is Balance Boy still around? Mythic really can't seem to balance the classes. I'm surprised they haven't just thrown their hands up in the air and try to say with a straight face, "The bainshee is working as intended"

I enjoyed my return to this game last year. This makes it looks even more tempting...the main thing I remember is how impressive the graphics were for a game it's age!

DAoC is still a great game Beau, now that they consolidated servers there is action pretty much all the time.
I re-subbed for the first time in 5 years a couple of months ago and had a great time. (yeah, I was one of those who ditched over ToA) Compared to 90% of todays games, DAoC crushes the competition when it comes to depth and gameplay. Graphics and animations...not so much which is probably the most difficult adjustment ;)

One thing I always enjoyed about DAoC was the TON of different classes. (43 or something now) Your average new MMO releases with what, 10? Combine that with the different races and you have a BUNCH of combinations.
Although that is a two-edged sword which you can see with Mythic saying they'll be mirroring abilities now to balance WAR.
