Swimming is in. As are shark pets for the rangers. Look it up, Massively's already covered it. :)

Shame the classes sound boring and uninteresting :(

Dude only three of the eight classes have been revealed, at least hold your troll-like negativity until all the classes have been revealed.

From the looks of this trailer, golemancers will be a class. That + the inevitably returning necromancer class shoots a hole in your comment. I have yet to find an MMO that has a class that operates like GW1's necromancer...ah, to be a minion master in LOTRO is my dream.

My dear lord...Ree Soesbee is beautiful. Where am I...oh right.

Nice looking video. I would be curious to know whether any of that was actual gameplay footage. Mythic spoiled any faith I had in dev teams hyping their game, so I'm a little leery. The artistry looks amazing as long as you don't need an ultra rig to experience it. I only played GW in the open beta so I really don't know too much about the franchise but this video, I hope, looks to be a good indication of things to come. *crossing fingers*

That was all in-game footage, no CGI that I am aware of in that video, we have seen some of thsoe clips in previous videos.

Also, if it is anything like the original Guild Wars, the game will work on even the crappiest of laptops, and look stunning on the high end rigs.

i'll second dan on that, i don't think any of their videos are explicitly cgi scenes. what gw did in the first game, and from what they've been showing up, i assume they will do in gw2, is use the in game graphics, but with cut aways for characters to talk and crap.

also they have already stated that the req to play will prob be slightly higher than the original gw, but they are still aiming to make it playable on low end rigs

I really like this game studio. I seriously miss Seattle. I wish I cold move my family there. I am very interested in this game. I already planned to play it. I am going to talk to my guild to start a portal for this game. And best of all no one is expecting the second coming from this game. They are communicating that they believe in their integrity and new design. I like that.

Will my AMD XII and ATI 5850 handle it?

Wonderful! I've played Guild Wars, but have missed the fun when I first ventured there! This brings back all those giddy feelings of adventure and co-op fun, and this looks to exceed all my expectations with its robust gameplay, immersion-candy, and impeccable music. And the PvP has been Guild Wars' hallmark fun too, so I can't wait to try the sequel's new offerings.

I am not sure if folks noticed but they gave huge clues on the remaining professions.
1) Assassin
2) Mesmer
3) Some kind of protector
4) Necromancer(this is from the book anyway)

If you mean the person who put the shield down to block the fire-breath? That's warrior. There was a montage of all the released class skill videos in there.

As for the rest? Good chance, but those are also the most frequently assumed classes yet to be announced.

I believe the classes are broken down by armor, there's 8 in all...3 Scholars, 3 Adventures and 2 Soldiers. So according to Arnie's list...

A) Scholars (light armor):

Elementalist confirmed, Mesmer and Necormancer speculated.

B) Adventurers (mid armor):

Ranger confirmed, Assassin speculated and one other.

C) Soldiers (heavy armor):

Warriors confirmed and *one other.

Source: http://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/combat/part-two/

...look under Professions.

*Note: I agree with devilsei, that was not a hint of a protector type class...but infact reused footage from the Warrior class.

i got to say, i don't know where you are coming up with calling people scholars etc... gw players have never used that terminology...

so i might have missed the assassin hint but, there was def a guy shooting a rifle, and while the warrior has been confirmed to use rifle, it was not one of the rangers weapons, so i would bet that was the sniper/huntsman class. also, the asuran rolled out of a golem, which might be some kind of special mini game for asura or their class specialty, or it could mean there is some kind of class specifically for that sort of stuff. honestly i thought he looked like an asuran from tron.

I'm betting there'll be a golemancer class. I mean, we do see one of the asura pop out of a golem. Either that or they'll be vehicles similar to the sandworms in Nightfall.

No I mean the very first art they showed when they were speaking. That art is very very similar to wallpapers they release when they announce classes. The assassin and the protector were new pictures and clearly different from the warrior class images. Obviously, I am guessing here but the clues fit the pattern up till now.

Hmm... I saw a Charr with sword (or axe) and shield, and a human with a 2handed sword. I'm willing to bet both are just warriors, just that the Charr is skilled towards tanking and the other more towards melee.

Hell, warriors can push themselves towards ranged dps if they want to, and pull it off.

I was referring to the lady with the huge shield and single handed sword in the beginning. Like I said it was a guess. Obviously, you are free to interpret it as you see it.

As a veteran GW1 player I was pretty hyped about GW2 coming out. After seeing this footage the hyped part of me is multiplied by 10, what an awesome dragon! It must be fantastic to fight that ingame. There's just one downside to it all: I can't play it at this very moment..
