Hmmm... Champions Online... fancy graphics aren't enough to pull me away from the only legitimate superhero game for now CoH. It seems like the devs at Crypic are clueless when it comes to fixing this game. Players have been complaining about the lack of content and system imbalance issues since the release. Most of my CoH friends that left for Champions returned shortly after, a tell-tale sign that this game is probably crap. I haven't played it so that is not a definitive "this game is crap" just speculative.

Oh and first!

Cryptic is really confusing, to me.

Sometimes, they really show that they want CO to be good. They tell the players, "we really love this game and we want you to love it, too". They will release an interesting update with some cool features and/or an overhaul for underdeveloped power sets.

Then, not a couple of months later, they'll do something totally retarded and backwards. They'll release changes that dramatically alter the use of a certain system, often making it unplayable, or just so completely different that the players using it can't anymore. They'll ignore community input and release updates in the least intelligent way imaginable.

And sometimes they manage to do both at the same time.
It feels like Cryptic is living in some kind of classic tabletop RPG, and they're a low-level developer, trying to make some skill checks to improve the quality of their game.
Rather than having company consistency with the quality of their product, it's like they're just rolling the dice to see how the next update will turn out.

The Devs have admitted that there are a number of scaling and power issues with the new pets. They are definitely underwhelming and not scaling properly with superstats for damage or for health.

And hey, let's remember this is on test server, not live. It's clearly not working right...rather see them test it and find out it's borken to fix it then drop this on us live, right?

Yep, remember it's Test and not Live. I know (and stated multiple times in the article) that stuff will get changed around a lot. I just don't like their idea of design, because spending hours and hours testing everything was just boring. I couldn't find anything really good, except the stuff that was really good already, like sigils. Even the stuff that was okay before is crappy now, like the Primal summon and muni bots. Even if damage scales to superstats, the damage is way too low. 70-ish damage a hit in turret mode is horrible for muni bots. With +66%, that's like, half of what it is on Live. How is this better?

Never said it was: Clearly pets need to be brought up significantly from where they are on test right now. I don't mind using pets to win an interesting 2 or 3 team size battle in the Powerhouse and it's certainly fun with 4 controllable pets (Construct, Nightmare, Munibot, Wolf) and R3 Zombies...

...but it takes about a quarter of the time to use Orbital Cannon and be done with it.

I realize that the test center is subject to change and that I shouldn't expect what's on it to go to live as is regardless of feedback (even though that happens a lot), but it boggles me that a patch dedicated to improving the worst powers in the game.... made them worse.
