We may not have much information on TERA's highly secret political system, nor do we have a ton of new gameplay details to report, but one thing we always have in abundance regarding the forthcoming action MMORPG is screenshots. Yes, En Masse has delivered the eleventh installment of their venerable Screenshots of the Week featurette, this time focusing on the Valley of Nihil. Situated on TERA's western continent, the valley is an arid wasteland of cracked plateaus and foreboding sandstone that you can view in our gallery below.
En Masse was also kind enough to drop a few tidbits regarding skill tweaks earlier this week. In a brief news release, the TERA publisher details some of the feedback received from the Focus Group Test 2 that concluded earlier this spring, as well as some new skills that resulted from the feedback. Have a look at the skill descriptions as well as the in-game icons on the game's official website.

Wha....
What's this. That looks like... like....
Armor.
Functional. Practical. Armor.
On a -woman.- In -Tera-. I haven't had anything to drink this evening, so somebody must of slipped something into my chicken. Or that screenshot is shopped.

That weapon don't look functional, however. Looks like it would take 3 of her to hold that monstrosity up. The weapon models are still the weakest link of the graphics in this game.
The landscape for being a barren valley looks magnificent, as do the character and enemy models.

Raze, you have been hornswoggled, decieved! Using the high tech software available to me i was able to rotate the scene and look at the backside of her armor..............
Its a lovely low cut deep v to the crack of her......grieves with a smart little silver lace number outlining the ensamble to her pauldrons, quite fetching.

It's made of mithril, so it's light as a feather. ;D

The armour looks...normal. But then you look at the sword, and it's utterly ridiculous. In fact it's a 'twatty sword'. But bless them for trying.

Somnicide is right... It's not a sword, the class is even called "Lancer", Now keep refreshing the page and down rank until your back at two stars... It seems like people purposely want to hate on this game.

Throw screenshots around instead of talking about gameplay.....I think we all know where this game is going.

it's not a sword, it's a lance

were lances that size ever used for anything other than jousting and mounted combat?

I saw the screenshot before reading the title and immediately thought "Valkyria Chronicles the MMO, sign me up!".
Sadly its not to be.

Whoa! You're right! Eyesight bad! I take it all back. All of it.

I don't see what's so bad with it... As I understand this is a tanking class and that the weapons can be used to BLOCK the enemies from attacking the squishies.
Wouldn't that mean an over-sized weapon would be... I don't know.. PRACTICAL for the class!? I'm normally a healer and personally I like it when the tank keeps mobs off me.
