The mines of moria bit is actually from her T-Shirt, not the cards (unless you have MUCH better eyesight than me).

I've now blown that picture up and squinted at it! I'm having a hard time telling for certain, but I think you're right -- I'm rewording a bit to reflect that. Thanks a bunch for the heads-up. :-)

yeah, you're right. In the comments section of her blog, she says it was a t-shirt.

I am tempted to say, "Does she have a Turbine logo engraved onto one of her rings?" O.O

Yes! Finally! I'll use these over credit cards every time.

Her "journal" post doesn't mention Lord of the Rings.
To quote:

"I’m so excited to see DDO spreading its wings and flying! if you happen to spot any at your local stores feel free to get pics of them for my general maniacal amusement!"

Turbine has already said that points won't transfer between games... so are there going to be separate cards for games, and labeled clearly with that fact? Or are they changing their minds?

As you can read here: http://ddo-daily.com/ddo-point-cards

The cards are already out in the public and for players to buy (Seems to be only in some GameStops in the US)

Turbine Points can't be transferred between games. There are too many conflicts between the two licenses (D&D and LOTR) and the parties involved, that legally they can't do it. It's apparently the same reason they never offered some kind of subscription package bundling LOTRO, DDO, and AC.

Thats too bad because I really wish either turbine or cryptic would offer bundled subs...(22.95 would be an awesome combo price for either STO/CO or DDO/LOTRO/

Sony does/did it and when galaxies and EQ2 were still pretty hot that was an awesome deal.

Wait, if I buy Turbine points I can't spend some on DDO and some on LOTRO? That is asinine! Why the heck call them Turbine points then instead of DDO points or LOTRO points?
