I just hope they do a good job of carefully considering what functionality will be exposed to the LUA API and what won't.

Blizzard demonstrated what a debacle you get when you don't plan that sort of thing carefully ahead of time. The API of WoW 1.0 was a disaster, allowing way too much automation (e.g. the infamous decursive and healbot mods), and had to be brutally cut down when Burning Crusade released. Here's hoping Turbine's initial API release doesn't end up needing such a rewrite.

Yeah LOTRO got the worst UI of the A list mmos. Also Gearscore is a great WoW addon if you known how easy blizzard it did make for people to level there class at the end game you do not want all this people in your pug groups so GS + cheesement is the way to go ;) (I mostly check them on WoW-Heroes as well like this site keep count with gems and enchants).

But what if this people want to gear up and and blabla? Well if this new 80s want gear or the fun of run it they can teamup with the other new 80s and enjoy all they want!

The difference being that on a lot of LOTRO servers people will simply not be able to be as picky about who they have on their team - they'll be glad to have a full one *at all*.

Hackers love them some addons (ie, people who install addons).

It's 10 o'clock. Do you know what your addon is doing?
